Important Notice

Sub: Regarding running three syllabuses in the Department and student’s responsibility.

All the students of the Dept. of TE are being informed that for various reasons we have revised and updated our syllabus of B.Sc. in TE. This was done in two separate phases as a consequence we are now running three syllabuses in the Dept. and they are (i) the oldest, (ii) intermediate (Revised and updated), and (iii) the latest (revised and updated). Some of the changes are like a course was replaced by another, or a course was given a different code, or the title of a course was slightly modified, labs are now will be offered with different course code and course title etc. etc. Students who have started with oldest courses will get grade sheet as course structure of oldest syllabus (course code and title), similarly the students who have started with intermediate and latest syllabuses will get their grade sheet as per course structures of intermediate and latest syllabuses respectively. However during registration, particularly in cases of retake some mistakes are happened due to change of syllabus. In this regard we have planned to provide students with their respective course structures. They are requested to stick with their respective course structure all the way through, particularly before and after registration they are suggested to be careful about course code and course title of his/her intended registration plan. After registration students are also suggested to check whether his/her registration was correct or not (course code & course title).
In order to save unnecessary printing of papers we have decided to provide soft copies of the syllabuses which will be available in the University “Forum” and “Online Notice Board”. All the students are suggested to download and preserve their respective syllabuses.
For further information and students who have discontinued their study for one or more semesters are suggested to contact Mr. Md. Rokanuzzaman, Administrative Officer, TE.

Head, TE
