All the students of TE are being informed that No mobile will be allowed in the exam halls , if any invigilator found mobile from the student they are requested to just seize the mobile and no students are allowed to go wash room during the exam time.

A highly power delegation lead by Prof. Dr. S M Mahbub-UL-Haque Majumder Dean (FSIT) & TE
visited BCSIR, & it was agreed that DIU students will be able to conduct project/Thesis, BCSIR Lab.

Notice

Subject: Project, Industrial Attachment, & Comprehensive Viva

All the final year students of TE are being informed that we have slightly changed the order of examining Comprehensive Viva (TE411). From the current semester (Spring-2012), the Comprehensive Viva of Spring 2012 semester will be held at first on 01/04/2012(Sunday) and onwards which will be followed by Project (TE407) presentation of Fall-2011 semester and Industrial Attachment (TE410) of Spring-2012 semester. In this regard concerned students are being suggested to submit one copy of their Project/Thesis & Internship report to the department on or before 10th April 2012.


Both the project thesis and industrial attachment report must be written as per DIU guidelines which is available in the DIU Forum or students can collect from their supervisors.


Students must clear their dues by 31st March 2012. If anybody fails to clear his/her dues within the aforementioned date, his/her comprehensive viva , project presentation & industrial attachment will not be held.

Dear All Final year Final Semester Student,

Pls find the Attachment for the Schedule of Project-Fall-2011, Industrial Attachment-Spring-2012 And Comprehensive Viva Spring-2012 Semester Exam.

It also hanged to the departmental notice board. If any one face any problem regarding the group pls contact with dept before exam.

the campus. This will help to maintain friendly education environment at DIU.

(Financial Aid For second degree program at DIU)

Students of Masters Program who have graduated from DIU and took admission in spring 2012 will be given tuition fee waiver for their second degree program in the following ways. It is be noted that they have to apply in prescribed Financial Aid Form and face an interview, conducted by the Scholarship committee to enjoy the waiver benefit.

Graduated Form FSIT or FBE

CGPA OUT OF 4   Waiver Rate   GPA to be maintained
3.25 to 3.49   10%    3.00
3.50 to 3.74   15%   3.00
3.75 to 3.84   20%   3.00
3.85 to above   40%   3.25

Important Notice

It is to notify all the students of L1T1 of TE that a workshop about effective use of (i) Teaching Evaluation (ii) Learning Feedback System will be held on 01/04/2012 at 1.00 pm in room no 306. All the students are suggested to attend the workshop. There will be two separate session each of 1.5 hour duration. The first session will start at 1.00 pm.
