For those who believe not in the Hereafter is an evil description, and for Allah is the highest description. And He is the All-Mighty, All-Wise." (Qu'ran 16:60)

"It is He (Allah) Who is the only God worshipped in the heaven and the only God worshipped on the earth. He is the All-Wise, the All-Knower." (Qu'ran 43:84)
Al-Wadood (The Loving)

Al-Wadood is the One Who loves His believing slaves and His believing slaves love Him too. He loves His slaves by bestowing peace and tranquility upon them and also giving them what they want and need. His love to His slaves is His Will to be merciful to them and praise them. He is the One Who loves His prophets and messengers and those who follow them and they in turn love Him too. He is more beloved to them than anything else. The hearts of the believers are filled with true love for Him and their tongues are continuously praising and glorifying Him. Their hearts are always drawn to His love.

"And ask forgiveness from your Lord and turn unto Him in repentance. Verily, my Lord is the Most Merciful, Most Loving. (Qu'ran 11:90)

"And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love," (Qu'ran 85:14)
Al-Majeed (The Most Glorious One)

He is the Most Glorious One Who deserves to be magnified and praised constantly. He is the One who is greater and more exalted than any and everything. He is glorified and magnified in the hearts of those who love Him. His righteous servants exalt and praise Him by humbling themselves before His Majesty.
"Owner of the Throne, the Glorious." (Qu'ran 85:15)
"All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, the Most Great, the Most High. (Qu'ran 13:9)

"Then glorify with praises the Name of your Lord, the Most Great." (Qu'ran 56:74)

Al-Ba'ith (The Resurrector)
He is the One Who will resurrect His slaves after death for the Day of Judgment. His slaves will either receive the reward of Paradise or the torment of Hell. He shows us signs of our resurrection by the seasons. In the fall all of the plants die and trees lose their leaves, however, in the spring He brings them back to life. He will do the same for mankind on the Day of Judgment.
Ash-Shaheed (The Witness)

He is the Witness over all of His creation. Nothing in the heavens or the earth are absent of His knowledge. He is the One Who is completely aware of everything and He hears every voice that is in existence, no matter if they are loud or quiet. He Sees everything in existence rather small or large and nothing can encompass His knowledge. He is the One Who will testify for or against His servants on the Day of Judgment.

Say (O Muhammad P.B.U.H): "What thing is the most great in witness?" Say: "Allah (the Most Great!) is Witness between me and you; this Qu'ran has been revealed to me that I may therewith warn you and whomsoever it may reach." (Qu'ran 6:19)

"He it is Who has sent His Messenger (Muhammad P.B.U.H) with guidance and the religion of truth (Islam), that He make it (Islam) superior to all religions. And All-Sufficient is Allah as a Witness." (Qu'ran 48:28)
Al-Haqq (The Truth)

He is The Truth in His Essence and Attributes. He is what the entire existence needs to exist. He is the One Who is given the Attributes of Magnificence, Beauty, and Perfection. His saying is the Truth, His book (Qu'ran) is the Truth, His Messengers are the Truth, His religion is the Truth, Worshipping Him Alone is the Truth, and whoever supplicates or worships anything (idol, polytheism) is in complete falsehood. This is because He is The Truth.

And say: "The truth is from your Lord." Then whosoever wills, let him believe; and whosoever wills, let him disbelieve. (Qu'ran 18:29)

Such is Allah, your Lord in truth. So after the truth, what else can there be, save error? How then are you turned away? (Qu'ran 10:32)

And say: "Truth has come and falsehood has vanished. Surely, falsehood is ever bound to vanish." (Qu'ran 17:81)

Al-Wakeel (The Trustee)

He is the One that everything is relied upon. His righteous servants place their trust in Him because He is the best of planners. He is the One Who holds the responsibility to dispose of affairs of His creation in accordance with His knowledge, Perfect Power and All-Encompassing Wisdom. He is the One who looks after His friends and makes the good easy for them and protects them from evil and suffices for them in all of their affairs. So whoever places their trust completely in Allah, He will suffice them.

"Allah is the Wali (Protector or Guardian) of those who believe. He brings them from darkness into light." (Qu'ran 2:257)

"Such is Allah, your Lord! None has the right to be worshipped but He, the Creator of all things. So worship Him Alone, and He is the Wakil (Trustee, Disposer of affairs or Guardian) over all things." (Qu'ran 6:102)
Al-Qawi (The Most Strong)

He is the Most Strong, nothing can encompass His Strength. He is the One Whom belongs might and honor in its entirety, the might/honor of strength, of conquest, and of preventing. He has prevented any of His creation from encompassing and grasping Him, He is Omnipotent over everything that is in existence, and the whole of creation is subject and indebted to Him and yielding before His greatness.

"Blessed be He in Whose Hand is over the dominion; and He is Able to do all things. Who has created death and life that He may test which of you is best in deed. And He is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." (Qu'ran 67:1-2)

"Those who have been expelled from their homes unjustly only because they said, "Our Lord is Allah." For had it not been that Allah checks one set of people by means of another, monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques, wherein the Name of Allah is mentiond much, would surely have been pulled down. Verily, Allah will help those who help His (Cause). Truly, Allah is All-Strong, All-Mighty." (Qu'ran 22:40)
Al-Mateen (The Powerful)

He is the Most Powerful nothing can encompass His power. (Same as Al-Aziz and Al-Qawi.)

Al-Wali (The Protecting Friend)
He is the Friend that His believing servants place their trust in. He provides protection and love for them out of His Grace.
Al-Hameed (The Praiseworthy)

He is the One Who deserves to constantly be Praised and Glorified. He possesses the best of Names and the most perfect Attributes. His Actions are based on Grace and Justice.

(Qu'ran 14:1)

"And indeed We bestowed upon Luqmaan wisdom saying: "Give thanks to Allah." And whoever gives thanks, he gives thanks for (the good) of his own self. And whoever is unthankful, then verily, Allah is All-Rich (Free of all needs), Worthy of All-Praise." (Qu'ran 31:12)
Al-Muhsee (The Reckoner)

He is the One Who will bring Mankind and Jinn up for Reckoning individually on the Day of Judgment. He will either admit them into Paradise or into the Hellfire.
Al-Mubdi' (The Originator)
He is the Originator of the Heavens and the earth. He created everything that is in existence and was not Himself created. He is the Originator of every living thing.

He created everything with perfection in structure and harmony. He began His creation as a test for Mankind and the jinn in order to test them as to which of them is best in deeds and punish the ones who commit indecencies and sins.

The Originator of the heavens and the earth. When He decrees a matter, He Only says to it: "Be!" - and it is. (Qu'ran 2:117)

"He is the Originator of the heavens and the earth. How can He have children when He has no wife? He created all things and He is the All-Knower of everything." (Qu'ran 6:101)

"It is He Who begins the creation and then will repeat it, that He may reward with justice those who believed and did deeds of righteousness." (Qu'ran 10:4)

"Is not He (better than your false gods) Who originates creation, and shall thereafter repeat it, and Who provides for you from heaven and earth?" (Qu'ran 27:64)

"Verily, He it is Who begins (punishment) and repeats (punishment in the Hereafter)" (Qu'ran 85:13)

Al-Mu'eed (The Restorer)

He is the One Who will give life once again to dead. He will resurrect His creation on the Day of Judgment.

"Is not He (better than your false gods) Who originates creation and shall thereafter repeat it, and Who provides for you from the heaven and the earth?" (Qu'ran 27:64)

"Allah originates the creation and then repeats it, then to Him you will be returned." (Qu'ran 85:13)
Al-Muhyi (The Giver of Life)

He is the One Who brings everything into existence. He brings forth everything out of nothingness. He gives life to His creation by His decree. He is the One Who took out a human from semen that does not possess a soul. He gives life by placing the souls back into their worn out bodies on the Day of Resurrection and He livens the hearts with His light of Knowledge.
Al-Mumeet (The Giver of Death)

He is the One Who gives death to whomsoever He desires whenever He chooses. No one can escape death and when He decrees a matter, the action is performed.

"He is the First (nothing is before Him), the Last (nothing is after Him), the Most High (nothing is above Him) and the Most Near (nothing is nearer than Him). And He is the All-Knower of everything." (Qu'ran 57:3)
Al-'Akhir (The Last)

Allah is the Light of the Heavens and the earth. He is the One Who guides His servants to the truth. He can illuminate the hearts of the servants and give them knowledge of Him and His guidance. He has lit the Heavens and the earth with lights. His veil is light, and were He to expose it, His radiant light would burn everything from the creation that His sight falls upon.

"Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is as if there were a niche and within it a lamp: the lamp is in a glass, the glass as if it were a brilliant star, lit from a blessed tree, an olive, either of the east nor of the west, whose oil would almost glow forth (of itself) though fire touch it not. Light upon light! Allah guides to His Light whom He wills. Allah sets forth parables for mankind, and Allah is All-Knower of everything." (Qu'ran 24:35)

Al-Haadi (The Guide)

He is the One Who is Able to give Guidance to Whom He pleases. His living beings have been guided to what is good for them or what will harm them. The believers have been given His guidance. He teaches them that which they did not know and brings them out of darkness into light. He keeps His righteous servants on the Straight Path without letting them stray.

"Thus have We made for every Prophet an enemy amongst the disbelievers. But sufficient is your Lord as a Guide and Helper." (Qu'ran 25:31)
Al-Badi (The Incomparable)

He is the One Who no one or nothing else can be compared to. He created the creation and formed it and He is far above any of His creation.
Al-Baaqi (The Everlasting)

He is the One Who is always in a state of existence. He is from eternity and He will always be in eternity.
Al-Waarith (The Supreme Inheritor)

He is the Heir, all of His righteous servants will inherit His paradise if He so wills.

Ar-Rasheed (The Guide to the Right Path)

He is the Only One Who can guide His servants to the right path. He is the Guide.
As-Saboor (The Patient)

He is the Most Patient. He gives all of His creation time to repent from their sins before the Day of Judgment. He is Patient and forgiving of His servants.
