It is our pleasure to inform you that DIU Sports Club is going to arrange Inter Department Football Tournament which will be held on 25th September, 2011 at Sobhanbag Koloni Ground(behind Prince plaza) and afterward we will participate the Inter Private University Football Tournament which will be held on 7th October, 2011 in the following schedule. Hope all the Department and players are getting ready for the big day to show up your talent and team work.

All the Heads of the department are requested to take initiative to form their team and submit their player list on or before 23rd September, 2011.

Dear nature,
 Textile Engineering Dept. of DIU became Champion in the INTER DEPARTMENT FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT.

I enjoyed the final match between Textile Engineering dept. and BBA dept.
TE dept. played better football than BBA on that day. The result was 2-2 (full time). Enjoyed exciting tie-break (4-3).
Arif, the goal keeper of TE dept. brought the victory by scoring goal on sudden death, while BBA goal keeper missed to score.
Hope to see this type of Inter-departments football tournament at least once a year.
Thanks to the organizer of this tournament.
