Pronunciation Development?

(1/1)

shamshoque:
Pronunciation Development? What does it really mean in this era of "Junk Language" all over the world?

Binoy:
I suppose junk language is the abusive form of language which the young generation resort to. It occurs during the course of most casual  interaction. In Bangla, for example, 'thola' is an abusive form of 'police'. Nowadays may young people use the word 'para' to mean 'pain' or 'hapa' to mean 'hazard'. Is this not the instance of junk language?

zafrin.eng:
Very essential information for both ELT teachers & students! :)

I think so, ir: it is the instance of junk language. Also, I didn't know the word "thola". Thanks for sharing.
