Balance of Power, the central study in International Relations cannot be ignored to understand the formation of different alliance and forums in the international system. From the cold war era to the contemporary world politics, there can be seen various blocs except the US and the USSR blocs of the cold war.
To understand the present scenario of global balance of power and the future directions of world politics, Bangladesh Institute of Law and International Affairs (BILIA) is going to organise a symposium on "Global balance of Power: Future Directions" on August 02, 2018, Thursday at 03 pm at the BILIA auditorium.
Two papers on the above issue will be presented by Professor Delwar Hossain, Department of International Relations, University of Dhaka and Professor Lailufar Yasmin, Department of International Relations, University of Dhaka and Deputy-Director, BILIA. The symposium will be presided over by Ms. Naureen Ahsan, Director General, Research Wing, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.
