Bangladesh 73rd on National Cyber Security Index

France tops the list with a score of 83.12, while Germany ranked second with the same score and Estonia third with 81.82
 

Bangladesh has ranked 73rd among 100 nations in the National Cyber Security Index (NCSI), published recently by the Estonia-based e-Governance Academy.

The countries have been ranked in the index after their preparedness to prevent fundamental cyber threats and readiness to tackle cyber incidents, crimes, and large-scale cyber crises were measured.

France topped the list with a score of 83.12, while Germany ranked 2nd with the same score and Estonia 3rd with 81.82.

With the score of 25.97, Bangladesh is ahead of Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Nepal, and Bhutan in the index.

Sri Lanka has been ranked 77th, Indonesia 83rd, Nepal 92nd, and Bhutan 93rd.

Bangladesh also ranked 53rd in the NCSI’s Global Cybersecurity Index, 147th in the ICT Development Index, and 112th in the Networked Readiness Index.
