Terrorism
« on: August 12, 2009, 03:03:56 PM »
No religion encourages terrorist acts or violence. The word ‘Islam‘ itself means ‘Peace, obtained by submitting yourself to the Almighty’. Anyone, be it Muslim or non-Muslim, who kills an innocent Muslim or a non-Muslim, kills the entire humanity. However, Islam goes a step further to say that if one saves innocent lives, the whole of humanity is saved. Injustice is the root cause of terrorism.

Palestinians are called terrorists just because they are fighting to get their land back. Take examples of LTTE (in Sri Lanka), IRA (in UK), Lord’s Salvation Army, which trains the young children to conduct terrorist attacks, and many other non-Muslim terrorist outfits; the lives claimed by these outfits are more than the ones by the Muslim terrorists.

Naxalites/Maoists across India and the LTTE in Sri Lanka were non-Muslim terror organisations, which had had developed pan regional bases beyond national boundaries. Other such non-Muslim terror outfits included the United Liberation Front of Asom, National Democratic Front of Bodoland and All Tripura Tiger Force in the Northeast.

The Japanese Red Army, Lord’s Salvation Army and the ETA in Spain were also non-Islamic in character and composition.

“So nothing is more removed from truth as to suggest that Muslims have monopolized terrorism, ”. The Irish Republican Army, which was considered to be terrorist group, has a history of 100 years of violence against the British, but the British government doesn’t seem to be scared about them as they are about radical Islamic groups.

Besides, Even a single killing by a Muslim is condemned by Islam, whatsoever the reasons.

On the Media, Judiciary and Politicians

It is the plot of the Western media to destroy muslims.

Media controlled by the political authorities is biased and does not portray the truth or reality. Islam does not justify using wrong means to reach the right goals. People should not take the law in their hands

Terrorism is a monopoly of politicians. People, regardless of their religion, wish to live harmonious lives, but politicians feed the feeling of hatred amongst them.

My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels. _Michael H. Hart, famous historian (100 influencial men in history of the world). He placed Newton in 2nd place, and Jesus (PBUH) in 3rd place and justified his reasons.

"I would like to kill George W. Bush.” Betty held him responsible for mass killing in the Middle East, in which thousands of children were killed.--Betty Williams, Nobel Peace Prize (1976) winner

"Bush n Blair are criminals, n they are responsible for mass murder in the world, for the war, and for the occupation, through their support for Israel, and through their support for a globalised capitalist economic system, which is the biggest ...killer the world has ever known. It has killed far more people than Adolf Hitler"_George Galloway(former British MP)

The Nazis called their opponents terrorists; Gandhi and his Indian Independence Movement were labeled terrorists by the British, those who fought for equality in South Africa were also called terrorists.

Declaration of Independence Signers The United States itself was conceived by men who the British considered to be "terrorists" and the Revolutionary War was won by a vastly outgunned Colonial army, that frequently employed terrorist/guerrilla tactics.

Nelson Mandela was considered terrorist by the White. Abraham Lincoln was considered terrorist by the British

Terrorism is a monopoly of the politicians of the world. According to a survey done by Chicago university among Americans, George Bush was no. 1 terrorist in the world

When suicide bombers kill people, we term it terrorism; but when cluster bombs from planes kill thousands of innocent people, we call it 'War against Terror'. Are we not ignorant and one-eyed? Shame on us!

During the war against Kalinga in 261 BC King Ashoka took fifteen lakhs of people as prisoners. Ten lakhs of men were made slaves. Many thousands of innocent people were killed in the battle. Ashoka felt that a victory won after such a heavy loss of lives was not worth much. He was very sad and unhappy, and took a vow never to go for war again. And he kept his vow till his last breath. Ashoka was convinced that wars could never solve any problem. In his own words he inscribed on a rock at Dhauli near the battle field "True conquest consists of winning hearts".

Who killed Indira Gandhi and why?

Her Sikh bodyguard because she was considered  to have led the army the golden temple (a religious shrine to Sikhs) to kill some terrorists but due to that about more than 1,000 innocent people died.

Who killed Rajiv Gandhi?
Independent India’s ninth Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated by Thenmuli Rajaratnam alias Dhanu, a suicide bomber of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) at Siriperumbudur near Chennai.

Hon. Ranasinghe Premadasa (1978-1989), former sri lankan priminister
Ranasinghe Premadasa was killed on 1 May 1993, during preparations for a May Day demonstration  in Colombo, by an LTTE suicide bomber who had infiltrated into his inner circle.

A Sri Lankan minister was killed by a roadside bomb planted by suspected Tamil Tiger rebels north of the capital on Tuesday,January 8, 2008

LTTE is the only organisation in Sri Lanka who use suicide bombers. They have never accepted responsibility to any one of their hundreds of horrendous crimes against humanity including the killing of former Indian Prime Minister Rajiv, for which their cadres have been sentenced to death by the Indian Federal Courts. LTTE and its agents world wide will try their very best to say that it was not them who attempted killing the Sri Lankan PM and killed Kumar Ponnambalam on 5 January, 2000
