Smart Village

Sheikh:
In the manifesto of the winning party of the 2018 election, there is an important vision of proving
facilities of cities in the village. After the election, we have heard from a different cabinet minister
‘Turn the village into a city’. This can be a catchy term but needs special consideration indeed.
Development needs construction and construction makes a profit. But we have seen the fate of our
cities. So the manifesto is very clear that the facilities need to be provided in the village. This needs
a proper planning of what to be done, in what way, using what material and so on. The objective
of this research is to work on a selected village and turn it into a smart one, not turning it into a
city.
