AUAP ELECTED BOARD MEMBERS AND OFFICERS FOR 2019 & 2020:

Dr. Md. Sabur  Khan, the Founder  &  Honorable Chairman, BoT at Daffodil International University  has been elected as the 2nd Vice President of Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP) at the 19th General Assembly of AUAP held on 19th November 2018 in the resort city of Pattaya, Thailand . This position involves 1st Vice President after two years and president after four years in 2023. Mr, Khan won the prestigious position getting about 90%. The 19th AUAP General Conference  elected seven new members and confirmed the appointment of four (4) key officers of the association who are also members of the Board. The following are officers of AUAP who will serve for two years from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2020 :

President- Prof Mahmoud Nili Ahmadabadi (Iran), President, University of Teheran

First Vice President- Dr.Peter P. Laurel (Philippines), President, Lyceum of the Philippines University-Batangas

Second Vice President- Dr. Md. Sabur Khan (Bangladesh), Chairman, Daffodil International University

Immediate Past President & Advisory Council Chairman- Dr. Sung Hee Nam (South Korea), President, Daegu Health College

The seven new members of the Board are the following:

5. Prof. Dr. Roger C.Y. Chen (Taiwan) -President, I- Shou University
6. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Weerapong Paresuan (Thailand)- Rector, Suranaree University of Technology
7. Dr. Larry Linamen (USA.)- Vice President, California Baptist University
