« on: January 15, 2012, 09:42:53 PM »
The organization which manages GKS-KGSP (Global Korea Scholarship-Korean Government Scholarship Program) is NIIED (National Institute For International Education). (http://www.niied.go.kr/)

1. How to apply
There are two tracks to apply for GKS Korean Government Scholarship Program; one is to get recommendation from universities in Korea, and the other one is to get recommendation from the embassy in your own country.
Applicants must choose only one way of them.
Applicants who submit applications to both Korean Embassy and Inha University will be disqualified immediately.

Inha University can recommend maximum two students from one country for 2012 KGSP. After screening all application documents Inha University will select a limited number of students for 2012 KGSP to NIIED. According to NIIED’s guidelines, Inha University will fix the whole schedule for application and recommendation. I think that NIIED will release the guidelines for 2012 KGSP in late January. (The application period for 2011 KGSP was in February.) Please wait for further notices of NIIED for 2012 KGSP application.

If you'd like to apply for Inha University to get recommendation for 2012 KGSP, please contact a certain professor first. A recommendation letter from a professor at Inha University is one of required documents to apply for Inha University's recommendation for 2012 KGSP.
It's strongly recommended that you'll send at least a resume, study plan, and scan files of your degree certificate and transcripts, when you contact a professor by an e-mail.

* For detailed information about a department and contact information about a professor, please visithttp://grad.inha.ac.kr/english/academics/MastersDoctoralProgram.asp

If students fail to get more than level 3 of TOPIK after one year of Korean language learning, you cannot start your degree program.
