Daffodil International University (DIU) has been recognized as the most environment-friendly university in Bangladesh as per the ‘UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2021.’
In the current year, the University also attained the top position in the country for the fifth consecutive year and175thglobally among 956 Universities. It is another milestone of DIU’s constant commitment towards ensuring an international standard educational environment in compliance with the sustainable development goals (SDGs) of the UN which positively impacts the students, society and environment as well.
The UI GreenMetric measures the contributions of the registered universities towards environmental sustainability and SDGs through research nationally and internationally.
A total of 956 universities from across the world took part and ranked in this year’s GreenMetric rankings.
