DIU Ranked Within Top 500 Global Universities by U-MultiRank 2022

DIU achieves a prestigious overall position 490th among global universities- released by U-Multirank 2022 on 21 June. Besides, in the subject-wise ranking category, DIU’s Computer Science & Engineering achieved 248th position among 396 universities; Civil Engineering achieved 176th position among 215 universities and Electrical Engineering achieved 149th position among 308 universities. DIU is the only university from Bangladesh to participate in this year’s ranking.

The multi-dimensional approach of U-Multirank compares the performance of universities across a range of different activities based on five performance criteria: Teaching and Learning, Research, Knowledge Transfer, International Orientation and Regional Engagement. Both local and international students can make better informed choices about what, or where to study based on their preference.

It is worth mentioning that the MIT, California Institute of Technology,University of Cambridge, University of Oxford, Cardiff University, University of Leeds, etc. are also in this year’s ranking list. A total of 2202 global universities have been included in the ranking list.
