I’m Sakhawta Hossain Emon, a 5th-semester BBA student at Daffodil International University. I’m excited to share how the Career Development Center (CDC) was pivotal in helping me secure a hall associate position.
My journey began with roles as a class representative and CDC ambassador, where I developed essential leadership and communication skills. i was involved in Volunteering at the DIU Job Utshob, organized by the CDC, where I gained management abilities.
A major turning point was the CDC’s 3-day volunteering work experience with the CDC on office applications and Google Workspace. This work experience not only enhanced my technical skills but also boosted my confidence and understanding of the office environment. The CDC team has always been incredibly helpful in developing students' skills and preparing them for job opportunities. They supported me by refining my CV and dropping it at many offices that needed a student associate. which significantly improved my performance.
Thanks to the CDC’s resources and guidance, I successfully navigated multiple interviews and secured a job as a student associate, which made me more confident. I am deeply grateful for the CDC’s unwavering support and highly encourage other students to engage with their services to maximize their career potential.
