Dua: During Walking to the mosque

Allahummaj'al fee qalbee nooran wa fee lisaanee nooran waj'al fee sam'iee nooran, waj'al fee basaree nooran, waj'al fee khalfee nooran wa min amaamee nooran waj'al min fauqee nooran wa min tahtee nooran . Allahumma i'itinee nooran.

Translation: O Allah, please put light into my heart. Turn my hearing into light. Let there be light in front of me, above, and below me/ O Allah, grant me light. [Source: Muslim]

اللّهُـمَّ إِنّـي أَعـوذُبِكَ أَنْ أُشْـرِكَ بِكَ   وَأَنا أَعْـلَمْ، وَأَسْتَـغْفِرُكَ لِما لا أَعْـلَم
Dua for Protection from SHIRK

Transliteration : Allaahumma 'innee 'a'oothu bika 'an 'ushrika bika wa 'anaa 'a'lamu, wa 'astaghfiruka limaa laa 'a'lamu.

Translation: O Allah, I seek refuge in You lest I associate anything with You knowingly, and I seek Your forgiveness for what I know not.

মা আয়িশাহ (রাঃ) একবার রাসুল রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম কে জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, “ইয়া রাসূলুল্লাহ! আল্লাহ তায়ালার রহমত এবং করুণা ছাড়া কেউ কি জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করতে পারবে?”
রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম বললেন, “আল্লাহ তায়ালার রহমত ছাড়া জান্নাতে প্রবেশ করতে পারবে এমন কেউ নেই।”
তখন মা আয়িশাহ (রাঃ) আবার জিজ্ঞেস করলেন, “আপনি ও নন ইয়া রাসূলুল্লাহ?”
তিনি বললেন, “না, এমনকি আমিও না। তবে আল্লাহ তায়া’লা আমাকে তাঁর স্বীয় রহমত দ্বারা ঢেকে রাখবেন।”
এ কথাটি রাসূলুল্লাহ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তিনবার বললেন। [মিশকাতুল মাসাবিহঃ ৪০৮ পৃষ্ঠা]

Narrated from ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr ibn al-‘Aas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (blessing and peace of Allah be upon him) passed by Sa‘d when he was doing wudoo’, and he said, “What is this extravagance, O Sa‘d?” He said: Can there be any extravagance in wudoo’? He said, “Yes, even if you are on the bank of a flowing river.”
[Imam Ahmad (6768) and Ibn Maajah (419) ]

On the authority of Ibn Abbas (RA), from the Messenger of Allah (SAW), from what he has related from his Lord: Verily Allah ta’ala has written down the good deeds and the evil deeds, and then explained it [by saying]: "Whosoever intended to perform a good deed, but did not do it, then Allah writes it down with Himself as a complete good deed. And if he intended to perform it and then did perform it, then Allah writes it down with Himself as from ten good deeds up to seven hundred times, up to many times multiplied. And if he intended to perform an evil deed, but did not do it, then Allah writes it down with Himself as a complete good deed. And if he intended it [i.e., the evil deed] and then performed it, then Allah writes it down as one evil deed." [related by al-Bukhari (6491) and Muslim (131)]
