The Health Impacts of Drinking Too Much Coffee
« on: April 10, 2012, 12:32:49 PM »
Is coffee bad for you? How much is the max you should drink each day?

One or two cups of coffee should not be a problem for most people, but more than this can cause health problems. Coffee can wake you up and make you more alert, but the downside to this is, when the caffeine wears off, you can feel tired and worn out.
Too much coffee can cause damage to the adrenal glands overtime, actually wearing them out. Coffee and caffeine can inhibit the absorption of some vitamins and minerals. And too much coffee can cause heart palpitations, chest pains, dizziness, sweating and sleep problems. Coffee is addictive, which means that most people will have withdrawal symptoms like headaches when they stop having caffeine.
Bad impact of taking too much coffee:
•   Coffee raises the levels of LDL cholesterol (the bad type).
•   Coffee and caffeine consumption decrease the efficiency of calcium absorption resulting in a loss of about 4-6 mg of calcium per cup of coffee, which increases the risk of osteoporosis
•   Caffeine reduces the absorption of B vitamins, thiamine, calcium, zinc and potassium.
•   Coffee inhibits the absorption of iron. Drinking 150-250 ml (5 oz to 8 oz) of coffee with a test meal has been found to inhibit the absorption of iron by 24-73%.
•   Caffeine can raise blood pressure, anxiety and panic attacks.

but we can't go a single day without it.
Now most of the time we take caffeine with some medicine e.g. Napa extra, Ace pulse.......
Why the drug authority giving approval of this drug recipe.......????????
