Teamwork
« on: November 07, 2009, 03:39:24 PM »
A boss is interested in himself or herself or a particular employee, but a leader is interested in the group."--Russell H. Ewing.

"No particular employee is a must for a company however skilled or educated or high he or she is. The whole people all together and their consorted teamwork are the most important things."

Team working is about working co-cooperatively to achieve shared goals.

We all should willingly co-operate one another.  We should not be afraid to seek advice from others. We should put in extra effort when needed to help others. We should recognize that the ways of getting things done in different departments, and organizations are not the same. We should speak positively of others.

Far too many people have no idea of what they can do because all they have been told is what they can't do.They don't know what they want because they don't know what's available for them

"A fool thinks he or she is always right. A fool is 100% adamant in his or her decisions. A fool praises oneself only. A fool doesn't want to listen to others and doesn't want to share opinions or decisions with others. A fool thinks he or she knows the best in his or her field of expertise. And A fool cannot be a manager or leader"

Many managers in our country have to learn participatory leadership style; most of them actually follow autocratic style.

Quality Control

To me, lack of intrapreneurial culture may lead to quality fall of an organization. We must encourage new ideas and accept those even if they might fail sometimes. We should encourage teamwork, cooperation and motivation. Training should be given on corporate culture, organizational behavior or behavioral competence. Promotion and increment should also be based on behavioral competence judged by not only bosses but also fellow colleagues who will be unbiased.

"Any employee who speaks negatively of his or her organization without any reason should leave the place."

We should speak positively of our organization. We must be positive even if we have scope for improvement.
