A Special career counseling conducted by Honorable Chairman, BoG of DIU has been arranged today at 3.30 pm. A total number of 50 (fifty) students participated over there to share their experiences and views with Honorable Chairman.

Some key findings are written below from the discussion.

1.   Honorable Chairman of BoG encouraged students to participate in the DIU Forum     
        through varsity e-mail ID.
2.   He suggested to the students to be ready to fight for achieving the goal.
3.   In every aspect job seeker should try to mange the situation.
4.   Communications with the different professionals are highly encouraged as because     
        we don’t know in different situation who can help me.
5.   Students are advised to keep connection with CDC all the time.
6.   Students need to set their goal in micro level right now and at the same time they   
        need to prepare themselves according to their goal.
7.   They need to collect information’s about the organization to whery are going to face
        the interview from different sources.
8.    Students have to prepare their resume in proper way, CDC always help the students
        in these aspects.
9.   Students are advised to go through the DIU forum where a good number of career     
        tips have been posted.
10.   Students are advised to build up their Public Relations skill.
11.   They are advised to be sincere, punctual in every aspect.
12.   They need to start their first job with out bothering about salary.
13.    Students should keep the records of their all previous activities.
14.   JMC students are advised to take initiative to publish a student magazine with their
        creativity and practical orientation.
15.   Students should prepare them as a very good presenter.
16.   CDC should organize seminar, workshops in regular basis for developing their
        presentation skills.

I am very happy & feel proud to be a student of DIU. The advice of our Chairman is very much helpful for me. I will try to follow his advice in my life. Specially i want to say that the way of interview technique is very good. I really proud to honorable Chairman & thankful to CDC for arrange this Special program. I hope that CDC will arrange this types of program in future more & more.
