Easmin Akhhter:
Waiting for Godot is a world famous absurd drama, written by Samuel Beckett. ''Godot ''is the most noteworthy and significant character of it, though we find no presence of him (for once!) in this play. Beckett himself doesn't make it clear who, which or what is 'Godot' (?) So, we have liberty to imagine him (G) with our own way. During giving an interview in television Beckett once says, '' Godot is in no sense a God. '' May be, 'Godot' indicates a hope for good future or the 'waiting of human being ''for a 'savior' .There is also somebody who believes that 'Godot' symbolizes the uncertainty of getting something in life. Moreover,'Godot ' often seems to us as the waiting for decay or death. Again. 'Godot ' can be defined as simply an idealization of Vladimir's own way of life. Anyway, we can sum up 'Godot ' as the sign of something pure, innocent, a new beginning for humanity and a savior who takes away all the dark, dirt and sufferings of the humanity. Like Vladimir and Estragon we are all waiting for a 'Godot' or a 'happy new beginning".

Godbole’s Song
Mr. Fielding arranged a tea party in the chapter-7 on part-1 (Mosque). In this party Mr. Aziz, professor Godbole, Miss Quested and Mrs. Moore Came by invitation of Mr. Fielding. Mr. Godbole sung a song in this party. The voice of singer was raised up and vocal broken down like as a mistuned kashor. It was seemed that a chorus of harsh song. It was the illusion of a western melody. The Lyric of that music had faded out with noise of his sound. It was the song of an irritation bird. Only some servants understood it. They began to whisper with each other. Servants was enjoyed that song and heard it with most concentrate. It was a religious song which bearded the meaning of emotion. He called Sri Krishna with his song. Though he knew that Krishna not response and don’t come but he called him with deep love and he knew the difference of relations between the God and follower continued to forever. Through this song we know that Indian people are emotional and they pray to a non-respondent God. Other hand British or Christian are not emotional. They realized the situation and faith in instant transaction.
