উন্নত সারফেস কনভারসেশনের জন্য মাইক্রোব্লগ টুইটার’র পথে হাটছে অনলাইন সামাজিক যোগাযোগ নেটওয়ার্ক ফেসবুক। ফেসবুক ব্যবহারকারীরা যেন ফেসবুকে ইতোমধ্যে বিদ্যমান বিষয়বস্তু সহজেই খুঁজে পান প্রথম ধাপে সংযুক্ত করা হয়েছে হ্যাশট্যাগ হচ্ছে।

তবে বর্তমানে ফেসবুকের অল্প সংখ্যক ব্যবহারকারী ইতোমধ্যে হ্যাশট্যাগ ব্যবহার করতে পারছেন। কয়েক সপ্তাহের ভেতর ফেসবুক দুনিয়ার সবাই এই সুবিধা ভোগ করতে পারবেন।তখন সহজেই হ্যাশট্যাগে ক্লিক করা যাবে এবং সার্চও করা যাবে । উদাহরণস্বরূপ: #NBAFinals অথবা #NSALeaks ক্লিকেবল হবে।

ছাত্রজীবনের শুরু থেকেই ড্যাফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটির নাম শুনে আসছিলাম। এখানে যে পড়াতে পারব তা শুধু কল্পনাই করে গেছি। এই বছরের জানুয়ারির ১০ তারিখে যোগ দিলাম ডিআইইউয়ের সাংবাদিকতা ও গণযোগাযোগ বিভাগে। নতুন পরিবেশ, নতুন সহকর্মীরা শুরুতেই আপন করে নিয়েছেন আমাকে। সবচেয়ে ভালো লেগেছে শিক্ষকদের ওরিয়েন্টশনে ভিসি স্যার, এমিরেটাস স্যার, রেজিস্ট্রার স্যার, ডিন স্যারদের উপদেশ।  আমরা এই শিক্ষকতা পেশায় যারা এসেছি, তাদেরকে বিনয়ী হবার যে শিক্ষা তারা দিয়েছেন তা পথের পাথেয় হয়ে থাকবে, এই কথা নি:সন্দেহে বলতে পারি।  সাথে ভালো লেগেছে আর্ট অব লিভিংয় কোর্সে রাজু স্যারের সূক্ষ্ম কিছু বিষয় ধরিয়ে দেয়ার বিষয়টি। তাই ধন্যবাদ ড্যাফোডিল ইন্টারন্যাশনাল ইউনিভার্সিটিকে, মনের গহীণ কোণের জোরালো শক্তিটি ধরিয়ে দেয়ার জন্য।

Syed Ishtique Reza is a promient senior journalist of our country. He completed his graduation from the Department of Mass Communication and Journalism, University of Dhaka. He worked both in print and electronic media. He was the first News Editor of ETV. After that he worked in RTV, ATN Bangla, Boishaki Television and etc. At now, he is the Director(News) of 71 TV, first HD channel of our country. I invited him few days ago and he gave his consent to come Daffodil International University.


He will take a class on the present journalism situation of the country at the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication on  on 3rd May, 2013 by 2.30 PM.


It will be a great opportunity for the students of Journalism and Mass Communication to meet him. It will broaden their knowledge and widen their networking in the field of journalism.

কয়েক দিন আগে সাইক্লোন মহাসেন হয়ে গেল। টিভি চ্যানেলগুলো সে সময় তাদের সরাসরি সম্প্রচারের মাত্রা এতোটাই বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছিল যে মানুষ জন মনে করতে শুরু করে এই ঝড় মনে হয় সিডরের চেয়ে ভয়াবহ। তা কিন্তু আর হয়নি।

চ্যানেল অনেক বেশি। তাদের মধ্যে প্রতিযোগিতা্‌ও অনেক বেশি। আর এ কারণেই অনেক সময় তা খারাপের দিকে চলে যায়। এই ছবিটি দেখুন

একজন রিপোর্টার কবরে জুতো নিয়ে পিটিসি দিচ্ছে। অর্থাৎ প্রতিযোগিতা এমন এক পর্যায়ে গিয়ে পৌঁছেছে যে তা কবরে নেমে গেছে। তাই প্রতিযোগিতা আর ইতিবাচক নেই, হয়ে গেছে নেতিবাচক।

It was my first invitation of any guest teacher in the class. I invited Mohammad Hasan, who is DGM of PR, Grameenphone. He came with a power point presentation on Public Relation. But, in the class he discussed on various matters. Students enjoyed a lot. Because, he shared his practical experiences from Grammenphone. When he finished his class, students demanded for extending the class. He did that. At last he praised the scholarly of our student. Lets see, what we can do.
