Rangamati is a land of pure natural beauty. Boating in lakes surrounded by hills lead traveler's sheer amount of pleasure. Suvolong waterfall, Peda Ting Ting, Rajban Buddhist Temple and number 1 above the list is the suspension bridge on the Kaptai lake. These are the places where U will find yourself fulfilled in the midst of nature.

It is hilly as well along with the coast. The Light House is another spot to visit. Someone can visit the circuit house on top of the hill if wish. The Buddhist Mandir and Pagoda should not be missed while visiting Cox's Bazar. Shopping lovers must visit the Burmeese market for variety of collection. Thanx for sharing !!!

Travel / Visit / Tour / Leaning against the cloud (Nepal)
« on: August 21, 2013, 10:04:14 AM »
Mountain View:
Pokhara, Nepal  is blessed with stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna range which forms its backdrop. The mesmerizing Machhapuchhre also called Mt. Fishtail dominates the scenery because of its proximity to the valley and can be seen from anywhere in Pokhara. Stretching from east to west, the Annapurna massif includes Annapurna 1 to IV and Annapurna South. Further away are seen the giants, Dhaulagiri (8,167m) and Manaslu (8,163m).

Phewa Lake:
Pokhara owes its popularity to the enchanting Phewa Lake, and along its eastern shore has grown the Lakeside or Baidam, a thriving resort town of hotels, restaurants, bars and souvenir shops that allow travelers to relax and enjoy. Phewa Lake is the largest and most beautiful of the three lakes, attracting a large number of visitors who enjoy boating on its placid waters. Boats can be hired, and many visit the island temple of Barahi in the middle of the lake.

PARAGLIDING:
Paragliding is perhaps the most rewarding of short duration adventure sports given the fact that there is nothing between you and the scenery unfolding before you. In the distance lie the majestic Himalayas and down below are the villages, monasteries, temples, lakes and jungles, a truly bird’s eye view and a fascinating one at that.

How to go :
VISA is not required if you want to go there by air. Its just port entry. But if it is by road, then the Indian VISA is required. From Dhaka, Bangladesh Biman and United Airways operates flights to Nepal. In each city there are a number of hotels. A good hotel is available in 600 - 2000 BDT. Various foods are also available and they are cheap. You need to spend 1000/ BDT for 4 persons per meal. If you travel with package tour, then they will take all responsibility.

Travel / Visit / Tour / Maheshkhali at Cox's Bazar
« on: August 20, 2013, 12:26:24 PM »
It is another attraction for the tourists who go to Cox's Bazaar. An island off the coast of Cox's Bazar. Through the center of the island and along the eastern coastline rises, a range of low hills, 300 feet high; but the coast to the west and north is a low-lying treat, fringed by mangrove jungle. In the hills on the coast is built the shrine of Adinath, dedicated to Siva.
Area: 268 square km

Attraction:
Breathtaking Mangrove Forest.
Spectacular Hilly Areas ( around 300 ft. high).
Salt Fields.
Striking Landscapes.
Picturesque & Peaceful Beaches.
Colorful Buddhist Temple & Pagoda.
Shrimp.
Battle Leaf.
Simple Island Lifestyle.
Rakhain villages.

Waterway:
You can reach the Moheshkhali by trawler (local motorboat) or by speedboat. By trawler, it is one hour and half an hour journey whereas speedboat takes just half an hour to reach the Island.

By Road:
Shaheed Ziaur Rahman BirUttam Bridge connects the island to the mainland. So, you can easily reach their by road.
