Title: ALL Of US Should have English to English Dictionary of bigger version.

As a dictionary(English to English) offers the transcriptions of all words: it helps to understand and learn the pronunciation. Therefore it increases the knowledge of getting different meaning, synonymous words, application etc of each word.If we get the soft copy of this dictionary, it will be much more helpful to listen the utterance even.

My students are learning IPA phonemes, all of them have dictionaries. I teach them how to use dictionaries and I think it's very important to learn how to use dictionary.

Many of us may have it inheritedly.

So all of us should have the hard copy and the soft copy of the dictionary from English to English.

Everybody should carry a dictionary, be he or she is a student or a professional. To develop and enrich our knowledge of English language, going through a good English to English dictionary and looking up words from it are must. I personally use Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary.

I wanna give special thanks to you both to raise a discussion about the need of using highly profiled Dictionary...........

Yes, I think Cambridge advanced learners Dictionary is better supplement for all the users........I personally use "Cambridge Pronunciation dictionary" & "Oxford pocket learners dictionary"..........as this is recommended for all the English Learners,Can you suggest me Whether I am going on the right way to grab English more capably????????

Actually the students can not get their teachers all the time to ask frequently about the pronunciation and meaning of words.

And I am answering the questions of Arafat...........Cambridge Dictionary is excellent to use. It is providing you one CD. If you install it in your computer, it will help you to get the exact utterance and to pick up the meaning even.:-X :-X

You know, you can easily carry a dictionary of bigger version in your mobile phone.So whenever you are free, you can check your stock of words!

Yes.That's true.We should have e2e dictionary of bigger version.I have e2e dictionary of bigger version. But it is not possible to carry the dictionary all time.Thank You. ;)

Thank you for your reply. But I Irin mam gives you the suggestion for not carrying the physically but to carry the soft copy of the dictionary in the mobile phone which you can easily carry.

I am really happy to see this forum cause it helps us to learn many things that really need to know every students.For example,Dictionary is very important part of a student life as without it no1 can learn English effectively.Thats why i wanna give thanks specially to mam for discussing such a important topics.Anyway...I am using E2B on my mobile phone,Oxford and some bangla dictionaries on pc.Actually i don't like look up the word from hard copy...its boring ;D

I have 5 dictionaries.I regularly use these.
 These are English to English ,English to Bengali, Bengali to English, 1 pc Dictionary, and Spanish to English. These are Oxford dictionaries.
