10] Np1+ Transitive Verb + NP2 + Verb [ Present Participle]
# The teacher kept us waiting. # They set me thinking. # I saw the thief running.

11] Np1+ Transitive Verb + NP2 + Verb [ Past Participle]:
# I found a man hanged. # I found the horse wounded. # He got the house painted.

12] Np1+ Transitive Verb + NP2 +[ Not]+To- Infinitive:
#I asked you not to do it. # The commander ordered the soldiers to advance.

13] NP +Linking Verb + Adjective:



#The pillow feels soft. # the milk seems hot. # He became sick. # They grew interested.

14] NP1 + LV + NP2:
# My sister became a doctor. # He has become a ruler.

6] NP1+ Transitive Verb + NP2 + NP3:
# Rameen teaches us English. # I promised her a present. # The mother has bought her a present.

7] NP 1 _ Transitive Verb + NP2 + Adjective:
# We set him free. # The thief broke the door open. # He painted the windows green.

8] NP1 + Transitive Verb + NP2 +Preposition + Pronoun:
# He showed the film to the students. # He bought a shirt for me. # He passed the pen to me.

9] NP1 + Transitive Verb + NP2 +  Adverb Of Place:
# They saw me in the classroom. #I found the box under the table. # He kept the money in the box.

1] NP + Be Verb + Adjective:
# Hanif is intelligent #the boys are gentle. # The man was brave.

2] NP + Be Verb + UW[ Uninflected Words] :
# The time is over. # That will be enough. # The sun is up.

3] NP1 + Be Verb + NP2:
# You are a liar. # They are politicians. # The boy will be an engineer.

4] NP + Intransitive Verb:
# The cats mews. # Babies cry. # Farina dances.

5] NP1 + Transitive Verb + NP2:
# Students study grammar. # Bangladesh imports medicine. # Nitu bought a pen.

** If the subject is third person singular number and present indefinite tense
 use s/es with the verb. Read-reads, teach-teaches, do- does.


** After preposition use –“ing” with the verb. By doing, at going, for coming, from getting.

** After –to preposition do not change the present form of verb. To do / to go.


** do not use more than one verb simultaneously.
Except the first verb all the other verbs will get an –ing with them. We started going there.


** After be verb the main verb should get an ing or past participle form.
I am going to daffodil. I am gone.
