Sub.      +  Verb   +  Indirect Object + Direct Object
She        purchased          me                       a pen.

Sub.      +  Verb   +  Direct Object +For/To + Direct Object
She        purchased          a pen               for            me

Sub. + Dare not / Need not+ Verb (Plural) 
He need not go.
He dare not go.
He does not go.

Put adjective after the following verb
  Feel, Taste, Smell, Sound, Hear, Look

  He looks good.
  He hears good.

Use Semicolon Only Between Equal Unit

Not this: The flood damaged much of the equipment in building 3; making it necessary for management to close the area
But this: The flood damaged much of the equipment in building 3, making it necessary for management to close the area
   Or
But this: The flood damaged much of the equipment in building 3; thus, it was necessary for management to close the area
