In the context of organizational behaviour is the view that a cohesive group is more than sum of its parts.Synergy is the ability of group to outperform even its best individual member.

If used in a business application it means that teamwork will produce an overall better result than if each person was working toward the same goal individually. However, the concept of group cohesion,needs to be considered. Group cohesion is that property which is inferred from the number and strength of mutual positive attitudes among members of the group. As the group becomes more cohesive, its functioning is affected in a number of ways. First, the interactions and communication between members increase. Common goals, interests and small size all contribute to this. In addition, group member satisfaction increases as the group provides friendship and support against outside threats.

I believe Team building is an important factor in any environment, its focus is to specialize in bringing out the best in a team to ensure self development, positive communication, leadership skills and the ability to work closely together as a team to problem solve.

Team building refers to a wide range of activities, presented to businesses, schools, sports teams, religious or nonprofit organizations designed for improving team performance. Team building is pursued via a variety of practices, and can range from simple bonding  exercises to complex simulations and multi-day team building retreats designed to develop a team

I'm very happy to introduce with nonverbal communication today. I must say nonverbal communication it the heart of communication & communication is the key of success. But you can't communicate yourself. Communication means you are communicating with others. Whenever we will be able to communicate with all, among a team then the real talentless will be proved.
