Today’s children are tomorrow’s leader. There are a large number of children are deprived of their basic rights in Bangladesh. Children are exposed to physical, emotional or psychological violence or threat of violence at home, in the work place, in educational institutions and other places. These are the common violence and crimes against children which are doing by criminal in various sectors. On the other hand, Children in Bangladesh who are conflict with law also subjected to violence by key actors under prevailing Act in many aspects of their lives at various stages specially at the time of arrest and trial. Though, there are lots of Act, rule, principle and judgment regarding violation of child rights but it has been increasing day by day. So, I think there are some defects in child laws and loopholes in implementing process that means juvenile justice system. In the title of my proposal I have mentioned for applying diversion process to make effective the juvenile system which will ensure child rights. Diversion measures are those that divert the child away from the formal court system, and often, redirect them towards community support service . Diversion means the conditional channelling of children in conflict with the law away from judicial proceedings through the development and implementation of procedures, structures and programmes that enable many - possibly most - to be dealt with by non-judicial bodies, thereby avoiding the negative effects of formal judicial proceedings and a criminal record.
