I used to hate fighting with my wife when I was young! But my whole life I have had to fight with my wife over little things. Most of the times after having a quarrel, I would forget what the quarrel was about but my wife never forgets and her mouth used to never stop yelling at me all the day!

I used to pray to God, “Please God, stop her mouth!” And finally, God listened to my prayers after a long time, just when I had already started loving her yelling!
Nowadays I love quarrelling with my wife! Because whenever my wife starts shouting her jaw locks! This means whenever she starts yelling and opens her mouth wide, she, herself, can't shut her mouth anymore. Every time this happens, I have to take her to the village doctor to fix her jaw and get her mouth closed.

Today, in the morning she started yelling at me because I missed the vegetable market! Her jaw is locked again. I asked her " Will you ever yell at me again?" She shook her head and said she would never yell at me again."

I came out to buy her vegetables and am walking slowly in order to punish her a little because I know the moment the doctor will fix it she will start up again!

Transforming Learning into Action / Struggle of Mr. Bean
« on: March 09, 2020, 11:47:57 AM »
Rowan Atkinson was born in a middle class family and his father was a farmer. He suffered
terribly as a child because of his stuttering. He was also teased and bullied at school because of
his looks. His bullies thought he looked like an alien. He was soon marked as "strange" and
became a very shy, withdrawn kid who didn't have many friends, so he dived into science. One
of his teachers said: "There was nothing outstanding about him. I didn't expect him to become a
fantastic scientist". But he proved everybody wrong and got admitted at Oxford University.
During his days in Oxford, he started falling in love with acting, but couldn't perform due to his
speaking disorder. So he got his master's degree in electrical engineering before appearing in any
movie or TV show. So After getting his degree he decided to pursue his dream and become an
actor. So he enrolled in a comedy group. But again his stammering got in the way. A lot of TV
shows rejected him. He felt devastated. But despite the many rejections he never stopped
believing in himself. He had a great passion for making people laugh, and he knew that he was
very good at it. So he started focusing more and more on his original comedy sketches. And soon
he realized that he could speak fluently whenever he played some character. But even though he
found a way to overcome his stuttering, he used it as an inspiration for his acting. While studying
for his masters, Rowan Atkinson co-created the "strange, surreal and non-speaking character"
known as "Mr. Bean." Even though he had success with other shows, "Mr. Bean" made him
globally famous. So despite all the obstacles he faced because of his looks and his speaking
disorder, he proved that even without a heroic body or a Hollywood face, you can become one of
the most loved and respected actors in the world.

Story, Article & Poetry /
« on: March 05, 2020, 10:06:55 AM »

Universal Human Values / Life as we live it

Worrying is a waste of time. It doesn't change anything. All it does is steal your peace and distract from your focus. The day I adopted a five-year-old Hindu orphan boy, I was very worried. Everyone yelled at me. My husband wanted to leave me! But you know what, after 30 years of that day my husband died taking my Hindu boys' hand on his chest. Because of my Hindu boy I have never had to be worried again about anything in my life. My boy builds a Madrasah for orphan children. There are 15-20 children living and getting education from the Madrasah there. Though I have four more children people call me Krishna's Mother. I feel proud and respected.
After growing up, Krishna always took care of us. So much so that our own children did not even have to take care for us although they were loved by us and they loved us also. Krishna used to take care of his father when he was sick in bed! He used to tell me every day, “My mother and father are my heaven. In my next life, I only want to be your son!”
I have learned, life is like a pottery bank, you get everything back what you’ve put in. I loved him and got his love back for my whole my life. I am a happy person. During my whole life according to my ability, I wanted to do good for people. And I believe, doing good for people and knowing you are doing good makes a fine pillow for your old age._Julekha Begum
