BBA Discussion Forum / Re: 1st year celebration of 25th batch
« on: January 13, 2011, 06:49:43 PM »
Thank you saint and rifat... It's good to see some ENTHUSIASTIC ones, since you two have shown interest personally and have given your valuable comments.
Rifat, yes, like other 1st year celebrations we're gonna make every1 know about it, sticking posters at the walls, adjacent to the elevators. And I think this is quite a cyclic stuff since if one knows about it, he will make others know... Now, as we could not organize a proper plan for it before semester final exam, I suggest the event should take place after classes start. Because, it'd a little take time to make other students know about the event and we need to collect a little fund (for refreshments) from the interested peers. And as saint said, if any other person have ACTUAL interest, then that person could have his say thru the forum or by meeting us personally at the registration day.    Thanks again...

Thanks Sir for this type of a post. I will call spade a bloody shovel... I have been writing in the forum since the forum day. And from that day I've been seeing some 'trends'. Some people write to become a hero member from being a newbie, some write to unnecessarily speak about the 'miseries' they're facing in DIU, and some write fruitful stuffs... I'm not gonna rate the people who write necessary stuffs, because we all know that what these people have been doing is, improvising the DIU forum. Now, the people who write unnecessary things like-"Thanx for your post, i completely agree" are just polluting the forum. For example- If there is a very important post in the forum and somebody wishes to learn more of it, he may loose interest from it since the productive post might get buried among the unnecessary ones. Then, the 'problematic' posts. The people write in this type of posts don't think that they are being disloyal to the institution where they have been reading. I am not telling one to be a hardcore loyal, because no one can ever be, but the message to these persons should criticize but don't condemn the varsity because you never know when this refutable post may create greate havoc. There were some posts, which were complaining about the absense of some convenience which actually weren't... This shows there are some degenerated people who're hellbent to make the authority ashamed of some petty inconvenience.

Miss Ferdows, Thanks for your comment. Yes, I have talked with some C section guys and they are gonna provide the help and assistance needed. But, now what we want, is direct initiative from ourselves. We should not say that, "I'm/our section is with you" only verbally or only to increase the number of posts in the forum, but to mean it by heart and devote oneself accordingly. As I had asked for suggestions from our peers to improvise the event, I had found only 1 post (saint's post) giving ideas to improvise the event, and that is too sad one can expect... We're gonna finalize the schedule and plan INSHALLAH on the 20th, the registration day. And after we initiate the plan we'll INSHALLAH promote it in different ways, thus others would be able to know the stuff...

The SEC could've imposed the bank loan limitation of single credit holders to the OTC market and after evaluation it should've imposed the same to the working market. And govt. is gonna bring 17 billion IPO to recover the downfall...

A quite good idea... I second it... This will make the event more interesting. Since almost everyone of us has decent formal dresses, I don't see any problem regarding making formal dress, 25th batch 1st year celebration's 'dress code'. And female students could wear Sari to make it more special than the regular class days. Give your opinion regarding it so that we may include this in our event plan...

Saint, welcome to the forum...
What you've written, to me is quite adequate since many of us rely only on books. But we tend to forget one thing, and that is, BOOKS ARE REFERENCE MATERIALS. If any idea gets evolved which had not yet been presented in any kinds of books, are seen to be ABSURD! One should always remember one thing and that is, ideas could be evolved from any person, at any time and that person might not be a scholar type of a person to evolve the stuff or write it on a book. E.g- a few months ago a mere taxi driver got a brilliant idea to reduce traffic jam, what even expect BUET engineers failed to initiate. Now, this taxi driver had no engineering schooling but he could initiate a good idea with his experience.

Hadith / Re: HADITH of the Day
« on: January 07, 2011, 05:00:07 PM »
Sheikh Sayyad Sabiq in his Fiqh Us-Sunnah reported that RASULALLAH (S.M) said, "The ten days of the month of DHUL-HIJJAH are the best days in the sight of ALLAH". A man asked, "Are these days better than an equivalent number of days that are spent fighting for the cause of ALLAH?" Then RASULALLAH (S.M) replied, "They are better than an equivalent days spent fighting in the cause of ALLAH"(....RASULALLAH later described the reasons). We know that fighting for the establishment of ALLAH and his DEEN is called JIHAAD-E-ASGAAR and fighting to perish the ill inside, is called JIHAAD-E-AKBAAR. ASGAAR means something small and AKBAAR means something big. Now those who have been hurting humanity in the name of ALLAH should read this HADITH. They thing that they will satisfy ALLAH by doing JIHAAD but forget that they are hurting his MAAKHLOOQ. So, those who are hellbent that they will 'fight' should read this HADITH and should motivate themselves to AKBAAR JIHAAD, because ASGAAR JIHAAD is for extreme situations. The big JIHAAD makes sense. See, when when you devote yourself to ALLAH and try to kill your negative aspects you will be able to become a true MUSLIM who will be able to motivate and diminish the negativity and misconceptions spread about ISLAM and may establish ISLAM in a peaceful manner, the manner ISLAM has always been advocating.

I completely agree with Ashiq bhai. But just wanna include something, regarding market in course of economics. In economics market means a specific region or place where buyers and sellers interchange commodities with competing each other. That means it emphasizes more on the whole "economic environment" (as a buyer base like- jute market). It also emphasizes the persons who influences and lastly the functions like- setting the prices, delivery aspects etc...
But we tend to get confused with the term when we use it in marketing. In marketing it generally means the actual and potential buyers. The difference lies with the term, as one describes it directly and another indirectly. Just assume- if you and your friend are crossing across (for example) class 604, and the students are making much noise then you could either say "the students of class 604 is making noise" or you could say "a big noise is coming from class 604". Now the first way of expression is market in terms of marketing and the latter one, is in terms of economics.

« on: January 07, 2011, 04:23:38 AM »
Adequate idea. Specially would serve best on exam times, since some students don't wear watches on their wrist. And also having no clock creates a confusion in the class, specially in regular classes when teacher(s) asks the students to know how much time is left, so that he/she could proceed with the study topic and in reply students say various times...

Common Forum / Re: What is Relationship between Energy and Power?
« on: January 05, 2011, 05:19:25 PM »
I don't know much about physics but I can say that energy creates power. If you feel a 'chemisty' with another person (take it as a female) then that relationship has ENERGY what can create POWER by having a strong relationship.      And now relationships don't last because the gradually the infatuations diminish and thus the 'energy' fails to generate the 'power', that is love...

I started my post with the word reciprocal, which reflects the immorality of both beguilled boys and indecorous girls. Just assume you're a brat! And u see 2 girls, one is wearing traditional salwar-kameez where another jeans and a tops. What would u do? A whiste at least to the latter one?!... So dresses do make a difference...

Shajib, sorry I could not understand anything since your post seemed blurred to me. By the way, Just inform us or any C section guys if you people have anyone who could sing well with any instruments...

I completely agree with Mr. Gazi. You see, everything is reciprocal. If you see today's urban girls (eve-teasing in rural areas have quite different scenario), they seem to have forgotten their core decor and thus wear dresses that can beguille a boy. Have we ever heard anything much like this from people of our previous generations? Perhaps not much. Because, women of that time used to wear decent dresses. But it'd be tempering of social history if we say that eve-teasing hadn't incarnated at that time, but at that time it was not a nation-wide problem what now it has turned out to be.
What now-a-days boys do is completely degenerated but they finish the stuff in a shameful way what girls started just by the name of fashion...

I don't know much about them but don't rely on anyone and ask for their financial statements, especially balance sheet...
