Assalamualikum. First of all I love my university and our honorable faculty members. As we know, our faculty members take the different subject in a semester. For each subject, we have a different number of sections. As we can see, some faculty member teaches us the whole book in a semester but another one faculty member only teaches us few chapters. I want to say that different faulty members give us different syllabus. As a result, when we take the advance course, we face different problems. One student may learn the whole book but the students of another section learn only few chapters. Is it the right process?

Our university should establish the combination question. Before the midterm or final exam, all the faulty members make a meeting, and each faculty member submit one question paper or twice (Set A and Set B). Authority will select one question or two questions (Set A and Set B). I strongly believe that entire student in different section learns the same things from the different faculty members. I know the well reputable universities have already introduced this system like DU, EWU, etc.

Advantage of the combined questions:

1. The networking of faculty members will increase.
2. Every faculty member will be aware of their teaching process.
3. Some faculty members are not willing to teach well. They should try their best.
4. Sometimes, I can see some students get a good grade in a specific section but the students of another section do not get a good grade.
5. The question pattern will be standard.
6. Students may interact with other students more and more.

This is my opinion, but I told everything from my real experience. Our authority may implement these. I want to see my university to be one of the best universities among the Bangladesh.

I agree with you. All teachers should complete a standard syllabus and make combined question. I hope it will help to equalize with all sections students in a batch.

Thank you Mr. Ashiq. I agree with you. I have observed like you. Some faculty members cover the whole book and some teach us only few chapters. This is not really fair. It is the appropriate time, authority should think about it.

After your mail, DIU authority seat and discuss how can we implement this thing. As we have huge number of courses in different subjects, conducts by different faculty numbers, it will take time to implement this system fully. But concern authority all ready gave necessary instruction to department.

You have really pointed out an important matter which DIU is lacking since its inception. The Question Moderation Board within the Examination Committee is certainly a pivotal factor for ensuring a fair and cheating-free examination system. I hope that the system will be introduced in DIU very soon under the guidance of our reputed faculty members and scholars.

One of the major problems may solve that is" Some teachers may give to their students more marks and some teachers may give the low marks. This problem may be solved by introducing this system. Some students say Mr. X sir always makes the conceptual question, So, I will not take this course. If this system is established, this problem also will be solved.

Because there are approximately 4 months in every semesters here. other hand sometimes we don't get all the entire period. so authority should pay attention on this............

If our varsity authority can take action that one question will be taken in the midterm or final exam but the questions will be set by discusing all of our faculty members. For doing this, we the studehts get a standrad question.
