A Linear Model of Age Structured Population Projections of Bangladesh
Abstract- This article describes the age- structured population of Bangladesh based on a population Model
which is a first order (hyperbolic) partial differential equation known as Von Foerster Equation. We project the
future population of Bangladesh based on the finite difference scheme for the age structured population model,
considering death rate average constant. Birth rate and death rate were predicted according to the pattern of
statistical data (Source: BBS&ICDDR, B) keeping initial value is the year 2001. Then we project the future age
specific population of Bangladesh using predicted birth.
Keywords: age-structure, Stochastic, populations, mathematical model, death rate average.
