Allah says in Qur'an regarding Friday...
'O believers! When the call is made for the prayer on Friday, hasten towards the remembrance of Allah and leave business. This is better for you if you know. Then, when the prayer is finished, disperse in the land, seek grace of Allah, and remember Allah much; haply you may prosper.
[Surah 62, Al-Jumu`ah (The Congregation, Friday), Verse 9-10]

Ramadan and Fasting / যে সকল কাজে রোযা মাকরূহ হয়

১. বিনা প্রয়োজনে কোন কিছু চিবালে।
২. তরকারীর স্বাদ চেখে ফেলে দেয়া।
তবে স্বামী বদমেজাজী হলে বা গৃহকর্তার ভয়ে জিহবার অগ্রভাগ দিয়ে করলে মাকরূহ হবে না।
৩. কোন ধরণের কয়লা, গুল বা পেষ্ট ব্যবহার করলে মাকরূহ হবে।
আর এর সামান্য কিছু অংশও মুখের ভিতরে গেলে রোযা ভেঙ্গে যাবে।
৪. গোসল ফরজ অবস্থায় সারাদির অতিবাহিত করলে।
৫. কোন রোগীর জন্য নিজের রক্ত দিলে।
৬. মিথ্যা বললে, গীবত করলে, চোগলখুরী করলে বা অনর্থক কথাবার্তা বললে।
৭. ঝগড়া ফ্যাসাদ বা গালি-গালাজ করলে।
৮. ক্ষুধা বা পিপাসার কারণে অস্থরতা প্রকাশ করলে।
৯. মুখে অধিক পরিমাণ থুথু একত্র করে গিলে ফেললে।
১০. দাতে ছোলা বুটের থেকে ছোট কোন বস্তু আটকে থাকলে তা বের না করে,
মুখের ভিতর থাকা অবস্থায় গিলে ফেললে।
১১. উপায় থাকা সত্তেও শিশুর মুখে কোন কিছু চিবিয়ে দিলে।
১২. ঠোটে লিপস্টিক লাগালে তা মুখের ভিতর চলে যাওয়ার আশংকা হলে তা মাকরূহ হবে।
১৩. পায়খানার রাস্তায় শৌচকাজে অতিরিক্ত পানি ব্যবহারে তাতে ভিতরে যাওয়ার সন্দেহ হলে মাকরূহ হবে। এ ক্ষেত্রে রোযা অবস্থায় পানি দ্বারা ধৌত করার পর কোন কাপড়দ্বারা মুছে ফেলাটা উত্তম।

[ - Did he not reach Ramadaan, fast and pray..... - ]
Talhah ibn ‘Ubaydillaah (رضي الله عنه) reported that two men came to the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم) who had accepted Islaam at the same time. One of them used to partake in Jihaad more-so than the other, and so (one day) he fought in a battle and was martyred therein. The other remained behind him for another year, and then he passed away.
Talhah (رضي الله عنه) said, ‘I saw in my dream that I was at the door of Paradise when behold, I was with both of them (the two men). Someone came out of Paradise and allowed the man who passed away later to enter first. Then he came out again and allowed the martyred one to enter. Then he returned and said to me, ‘Go back, for your time has not come yet.’
Talhah (رضي الله عنه) woke up and began to inform others about this and they were all surprised. This reached the Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) and when they informed him of it, he said:
من أي ذلك تعجبون؟ قالوا: يا رسول اللهّ هذا كان أشد الرجلين اجتهاداً ثم استشهد ودخل هذا الآخر الجنة قبله فقال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) : أليس قد مكث هذا بعده سنة؟ قالوا: بلى. قال: أدرك رمضان فصام وصلى كذا وكذا من سجدة في السنة؟ قالوا: بلى. قال رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم): فما بينهما أبعد مما بين السماء والأرض
He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, ‘What are you surprised about?’ They said, ‘O Messenger of Allah! Out of them both, this one strove harder (in Jihaad) then he was martyred but this other one was entered into Paradise before him.’ The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, ‘Did he not remain behind him for one year?’ They said, ‘Yes (he did).’ He (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, ‘Did he not reach Ramadaan, fast and pray with such and such number of prostrations in the year?’ They said, ‘Yes.’ The Messenger of Allaah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, ‘So the difference between them is greater than what is between the heavens and the earth.’
