Dear Colleagues,
Greetings from Uttara campus! While supervising the students' projects, I was wondering if we can arrange weekly seminars at Uttara campus. More or less all of us teachers are involved in researching and many of us already have publications in various scholarly journals. So if we can share our research works on a weekly-basis, I think it will enrich our research potentials and the students will also be benefited. I found most of the students having no practical knowledge about researching and the tedious procedures that are involved while crafting a research. These weekly seminars at our cozy Uttara campus will surely benefit both the faculty members and the students and research-wise will turn this campus vibrant in no time.
Let me know your thoughts.

As Ramadan is going and Final exam is very near, it is better to start this gathering next semester.

feeling is mutual. These blockades,tight-scheduled classes and final examination are needed to be taken in consideration. we can have a fresh start in the new semester.

I would like to be in if its next semester. i told you all that it is going to be a bit difficult this semester, next to impossible.

You are right, this seems to be a difficult semester. However we keep planning and preparing so that we can have better executions in suitable times. And you are most welcome as a series of full-fledged seminars requires everybody's active participation :)

Dear all,
Our previously proposed seminar will now get-set-go sometime during this upcoming semester. All interested teachers from the English department are requested to contribute with their abstracts. Dates and detailed schedules of the programme will be announced soon.
Let the ideas unveil!

We've been talking so much about this for long, but attending the formal meeting yesterday called by Jahangir Sir at Uttara campus is giving me a positive vibe about this. :D

Btw, I still want to push the idea of inviting people from other institutions nearby as it will not will increase the collaboration within the faculty but also promote Daffodil's academic environment.

It is a very good initiative. Even a monthly seminar will help us in so many ways. I will be glad if you take me in for February. I will upload my abstract after final examination.
