English / Re: A Word A Day
« on: February 18, 2012, 08:55:45 AM »
Thank you Binoy Sir for taking such an initiative. It will be helpful for all of us. I would request you Sir to discuss the use of some prepositional phrases along with the meaning of the words. In this case I want to mean those phrases which are usually used by us in our day to day life: such as; Annoyed at is used for something but annoyed with is used for somebody.

Thank you Sir,
Asma Alam

Thank you Shibli Sir for your posting. I also have found this social web very much effective for both the students and the teacher.I encourage the students to be the member of the social web. In the last semester I rewarded 1 mark for their participation in the social web. This time I have made them bound to be the member of this social web and am encouraging their active participation in this web site. But it seems to me that it may take some time to get full benefit from it.

Thank you Nusrat Madam,
For revealing the brief history of Mahabharata before us. But the fact is that the names are too difficult to pronounce and to memorize. Yet it is very interesting and enjoyable posting- and also very complex(!)

Thank you Sir,
For such a nice posting in the forum. In this materialistic world we are chasing after our goal and thus we become oblivious of our responsibility towards our old parents. Did they neglect us when we were in helpless state? No, never..... This heart touching letter has made me feel that we should be more compassionate with them.

English / Re: Feelings about the competition-spelling Bee
« on: April 17, 2011, 02:27:36 PM »
I express my thanks to the organizers of the spelling bee competition. This time the competition was more enjoyable and different. Till the end it could retain the enthusiasm of all. It could be more appreciable if there were large number of students as participants. Yet I must thank the participants and the organizers for arranging such a nice competition.

I also support Ms Tanzina's opinion. Certainly our university is playing an active role against eve-teasing. It will prove more effective if we all realize the intensity of this problem and come forward to solve not. I think the programme attended by Rokeya Prachi will be very helpful for the girl students if they manage to attend it.

Foundation Day / Re: Happy 10th Foundation Day_24th January’2011
« on: February 14, 2011, 12:07:43 PM »
Our 10th Foundation day was really an enjoyable day. It was a well organized programme and the day was full of new aspiration. The journey by bus, sitting arrangement, cultural programme- everything was delightful. The campus area is a vast area with beautiful natural sight. I express gratitude to our Chairman Sir for providing us such an opportunity to visit our new campus area. I enjoyed the day whole heartedly.

Dear Suraiya Alam Madam,

Still our students have respect for their teachers. If there are a few- they are exeptional examples. We should not count them as instance. rather we, the teachers, and the students should try to strngthen our bondage and it will have a positive impact on learning. And it will inevitably ensure the respect for each other.

Faculty Forum / Re: Regarding Semester Break
« on: December 28, 2010, 09:29:21 AM »
I also support the appeal for semester break. After a tedious journey, semester break only for a few days, can invigorate us along with filling us with new vigour and enthusiasm. I also request the authority to consider the case.
