Thanks for posting regarding UPS for Class room PC. You know, this month we have hanged 40+ Multimedia projectors in our all class room. Now, it’s time to power backup. Beside the Generator backup, we have already processed the UPS issue, this Semester break UPS will setup in the Class Room PCs.

Thanks Istiaq, you know; initially, we have implemented the WiFi Internet connectivity only one floor at Main Campus and one floor at Prince Plaza Campus. Yes, in the next phase, we have planed to implement the WiFi Internet connectivity in the 6th and 7th floor at Prince Plaza campus. Hope very soon you will get this facility. Thanks in advance.

I am happy to inform you that for setting your Outlook Express for gmail account you may follow the mentioned steps.

If you face that still your mail is not downloaded from your gmail account then you may change smtp port 587 instead of 465.

Highlight pop.gmail.com under Tools then Account, and click Properties.
• Click the Advanced tab.
• Fill in the following information:*

•   Enter port 587 in the Outgoing mail (SMTP): field.
•   Under Outgoing Mail (SMTP), check the box next to This server requires a secure connection (SSL).
•   Under Incoming mail (POP3), check the box next to This server requires a secure connection (SSL). The port will change to 995.

Dear Students,
Greetings! It's a privilege to invite you for the "3rd National Cisco Skills Competition" which is scheduled to be held on August 06, 2010. The 3 winning teams will qualify for participation in the Cisco SAARC NetRiders competition which will be held sometime in late August 2010.
 
Objectives of the Competition:
The general objective of this competition is to develop the skills of the NetAcad students in designing, building, and maintaining computer networks as well as to prepare academy students for the upcoming Cisco SAARC NetRiders competition. This competition will also provide an opportunity for the networking academy students to interact with each other.
 
Venue:
American International University - Bangladesh

Skills and Knowledge to be tested:
Student’s knowledge on CCNA Exploration v 4.0 will be tested.

Team Composition:
Any Student who is currently undergoing the CCNA Course OR Alumni who has completed the CCNA Course within the last 1 Year is eligible to be part of the Competition. Each Student Team can have a maximum of 3 (three) students ONLY.
 
Awards:
•   All participating team members will receive a “Certificate of Participation”.
•   Top 10 (ten) team members will receive a “Certificate of Distinction” and a Crest.
•   Top 3 (three) team will receive a “Certificate of Outstanding Achievement”, Trophy and Cash Prize.

Registration Guidelines:
Each Academy can register maximum 5 (five) teams for the competition. NO registration fee! Interested candidate or groups are requested to collect the Registration Form from your Academy. Dear all,
PLEASE FORWARD THIS WARNING AMONG FRIENDS, FAMILY, AND CONTACTS!

You should be alert during the next few days. Do not open any message with an attachment entitled 'POSTCARD FROM HALLMARK,' regardless of who sent it to you. It is a virus which opens A POST CARD IMAGE, which 'burns' the whole Hard Disc C:\ of your computer.
 
This virus will be received from someone who has your e-mail address in his/her contact list. If you receive a mail called' POSTCARD,' even though sent to you by a friend, do not open it! Remove the message immediately. This is the worst virus announced by CNN.
 
It has been classified by Microsoft as the most destructive virus ever. This virus was discovered by McAfee yesterday, and there is no repairing tools yet for this kind of virus. This virus simply destroys the Zero Sector of the Hard Disc, where the vital information is kept.
