১) সফলতা বলতে কী বোঝায়?
 
সাফল্য হচ্ছে জীবনের এমন এক অবস্থান যেখানে পৌঁছে আপনার মনে হবে, আপনার বেঁচে থাকাটা সার্থক হয়েছে। মনে হবে, নিজের মেধার কিছুটা হলেও স্ফূরণ ঘটাতে পেরেছেন। নিজের এবং মানুষের কিছু হলেও কল্যাণ করতে পেরেছেন। যখন আপনি তৃপ্তির সাথে চোখ বন্ধ করে বলতে পারবেন-আমার যা কিছু করার ছিলো করেছি, যা কিছু দেখার ছিলো দেখেছি, যা কিছু বলার ছিলো বলেছি।
 
২) সফলতার জন্য প্রধান বাধা কি?
 
আমাদের সবকিছুই আছে, অভাব শুধু বিশ্বাসের। আমরা নিজেদেরকে বিশ্বাস করতে পারি না। বিশ্বাস করতে পারি না যে, আমিও পারি। বিশ্বাস করতে পারি না যে, আমিও পারবো।
 
৩) সফলতার জন্য কি বেশি দরকার?
 
আকাশ ছোঁয়া স্বপ্ন, অদম্য সাহস, নিরলস পরিশ্রম আর আত্মবিশ্বাস। যেদিন বিশ্বাস করতে পারবেন যে, আমিও পারি, সেদিন আপনার প্রতিটি যুক্তিসঙ্গত চাওয়া পাওয়ায় রূপান্তরিত হবে। বিশ্বাসই আপনাকে সাফল্যের পথে এগিয়ে নেবে।
 
৪) দীর্ঘদিন পড়ালেখার পর চাকরির জন্যে প্রস্ত্ততি নিয়েছি। এ যাবত পাঁচটি ব্যাংকে ভাইভা দিয়েছি। নিজের মধ্যে নতুন করে প্রাণ ফিরিয়ে আনতে পারছি না। চাকরি পাওয়াটা আমার জন্যে খুবই দরকার। এখন কীভাবে এগুবো?
 
সমস্যাটা আপনার মধ্যে। কোন চাকরি কীভাবে হয় এবং ব্যাংকে চাকরি পেতে হলে কী কী যোগ্যতা লাগে তা তো আপনাকে জানতে হবে। সর্বাত্মক প্রচেষ্টা আপনি চালান নি। পাঁচটি ব্যাংকে ভাইভা দিয়েই মনে করছেন সর্বাত্মক প্রচেষ্টা চালিয়েছেন। আসলে তা নয়। ভাইভা দিয়ে এলেই চাকরি হয়ে যায় না। তা প্রাইভেট ব্যাংক হোক আর সরকারি ব্যাংক হোক। আসলে ভাইভা দেয়াটা তো গুরুত্বপূর্ণ না, আপনি ভাইভা-তে ইমপ্রেস করতে পারছেন কি না, এটা হচ্ছে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ। যেরকম ভিসাতে সমস্যা হয় কেন? অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রে কাগজপত্র এক নম্বর হলেও ভিসাপ্রার্থীর চেহারা দেখলে মনে করে দুই নম্বর লোক। ভেতরে আগুন নেই, ভেতরে আত্মবিশ্বাস নেই। আমরা যাই চোরের মতো। ফলে ভিসা দেয় না।
 
৫) জব-এর পরীক্ষার সময় অনেক জানা প্রশ্ন ভুলে যাই অথবা সময়ের অভাবে লিখতে পারি না। কেন?
 
তার মানে আপনার প্রস্ত্ততির অভাব। অন্যরা তো লিখছে, আপনি পারছেন না কেন? আপনার প্রস্ত্ততি নেই। চাকরি বাজারে নিজেকে উপস্থাপন করার যে পূর্ব-যোগ্যতা প্রয়োজন, সে যোগ্যতা আপনার নেই। আগে যোগ্যতা অর্জন করতে হবে। আর প্রস্ত্ততি নেয়ার পরও ইন্টারভিউয়ে খারাপ করার একটিই কারণ থাকতে পারে, সেটি হচ্ছে-নার্ভাসনেস। আত্মবিশ্বাস এই নার্ভাসনেসকে দূর করে দেয়। আপনাকে প্রস্ত্ততি নিতে হবে এবং আত্মবিশ্বাসী হতে হবে যাতে আপনি নার্ভাস ফিল না করেন।

Life Science / শসার ১০ টি ব্যতিক্রমী ব্যবহার যা আপনাকে অবাক করবে

শসা অনেকেরই প্রিয় একটি খাবার, বিশেষ করে গরমের সময়। শসার নানা গুণের মধ্যে অন্যতম হচ্ছে শসা শরীর ঠাণ্ডা রাখতে পারা। আর এ কারণেই গরমে শসার কদর একটু বেশিই বেড়ে যায়। কিন্তু শসা শুধুই খাওয়ার কাজে নয় অন্যান্য অনেক কাজেই ব্যবহার করা হয়ে থাকে। অবাক হচ্ছেন? অবাক হওয়ারই কথা। কারণ, শসার আরও নানা ব্যতিক্রমী ব্যবহার রয়েছে যা নিঃসন্দেহে অবাক করবে আপনাকে।

১) মুখের দুর্গন্ধ দূর করতে শসা
মুখের দুর্গন্ধ দূর করতে অনেক কার্যকরী পুদিনা, দারুচিনি ও লবঙ্গ। কিন্তু একই ফলাফল পেতে খেয়ে নিতে পারেন শসা। এতেও মুখের দুর্গন্ধ থাকবে না।

২) মাথা ব্যথা দূর করে
একটানা কাজ করে গেলে মাথাব্যথা হওয়াই স্বাভাবিক যদি মাঝে একেবারেই চোখও বন্ধ না করা হয়। এই ধরণের মাথা ব্যথা দূর করতে কয়েক টুকরা শসা খেয়ে চোখ বন্ধ করে শুয়ে থাকুন অন্তত ৫ মিনিট। দেখবেন মাথা ব্যথা সেরে যাবে।

৩) ঢিলে হয়ে যাওয়া চামড়া টাইট করতে
শসা আমাদের ত্বকের কোলাজেন টিস্যুর ক্ষতি পূরণ করতে সহায়তা করে এবং ত্বকের ইলাস্টিসিটি ফিরিয়ে আনে। শসা খাওয়ার পাশাপাশি ত্বকে শসা বা শসার রস ঘষে নিলেও অনেক উপকার পাওয়া যায়।

৪) জিনিসপত্রের মরিচা দূর করতে
কাটাকাটি করার ছুরি বা এই ধরণের জিনিসগুলো অনেক দিন ব্যবহার না করলে মরিচা পড়ে যায়। এই মরিচা দূর করতে এক টুকরা শসা কেটে নিয়ে ঘষে নিন ভালো করে। ব্যস সমস্যার সমাধান এবং সেই সাথে ধাঁরও বেড়ে যাবে।

৫) ক্যালরি ছাড়াই ক্ষুধা দূর করবে, কমাবে ওজন
ক্ষুধার সময় অস্বাস্থ্যকর খাবার খেয়ে ক্যালরি বাড়ানোই ওজন বেড়ে যাওয়ার মূল কারণ। তাহলে এক কাজ করুন ক্ষুধা পেলেই শসা খেয়ে নিন। এতে ক্যালরি একেবারেই নেই যার ফলে ওজনটা বাড়বে না একেবারেই।

৬) বাগানকে পোকামাকড়ের অত্যাচার থেকে রক্ষা করতে
শখ করে বাগান করলে পোকামাকড়ের যন্ত্রণায় তা টিকিয়ে রাখাই দায়। এক কাজ করুন, একটি এ্যালুমিনিয়াম কৌটোয় কয়েক টুকরো শসা রেখে দিন। এ্যালুমিনিয়ামে শসা রাসায়নিক বিক্রিয়া করে এমন গন্ধের সৃষ্টি করবে যা মানুষের কোনো সমস্যা না করলেও পোকামাকড়কে বাগান ঠেকে দূরে রাখবে।

৭) আয়না ঝকঝকে পরিষ্কার করতে
বাথরুমের শাওয়ার গ্লাস বা বেসিনের আয়নাটাতে ধোঁয়াটে ধরণের দাগের সৃষ্টি হলে তা সহজে উঠতে চায় না। এই সমস্যা থেকে মুক্তি পেতে এক টুকরো শসা নিয়ে ঘষে দেখুন। খুব সহজেই ঝকঝকে পরিষ্কার হয়ে যাবে।

৮) দরোজার ক্যাঁচকোঁচ শব্দ বন্ধ করতে
একটু পুরনো হলে বা দরজার নব ঠিক না থাকলে ক্যাঁচকোঁচ করে মাথা ধরিয়ে দেয়। দরোজার কবজায় এক টুকরা শসা নিয়ে ঘষে দিন। বিরক্তিকর শব্দ বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে।

৯) জুতা পরিষ্কার করতে
জুতো ময়লা হয়ে গিয়েছে কিন্তু ঘরে পলিশ নেই? একেবারেই ভাববেন না। জুতো পরিষ্কার করে নিন এক টুকরো শসা দিয়ে। একেবারে চকচক করবে।

১০) দেয়ালের দাগ পরিষ্কার করতে
বাসায় ছোটো শিশু থাকলে দেয়ালে কালি, রঙ বা ক্রেয়নের দাগ তো থাকেই। এই সমস্যা দূর করতে শসার খোসা নিয়ে দাগগুলোতে আলতো করে ঘষে তুলে ফেলুন। দেখবেন খুব সহজে উঠে গিয়েছে।

দাগ পড়ে কত প্রিয় জিনিসই তো নষ্ট হয়ে যায় আমাদের। হয়তো পছন্দের জামাটা আর পরাই হয়না, হয়তো প্রিয় আয়নাটাই হয়ে যায় ব্যবহার অযোগ্য। অনেক সময় আবার কিছু কাটাকাটি করতে গিয়ে হাতে দাগ বসে যায়, বিব্রতকর পরিস্থিতিতে পড়তে হয় তখন। কি ভালো হতো, যদি এসব বিচ্ছিরি দাগ দূর হয়ে যেত নিমিষে! আজকে আপনাদের এমন ৮ উপায় জানাবো যাতে সহজে দাগ উঠিয়ে ফেলতে পারেন।

লোহার জিনিসে মরিচার দাগ
লোহার জিনিসে অনেক সময়ই মরিচার দাগ পড়ে। এক্ষেত্রে একটা সুতি কাপড়ে টুথপেষ্ট নিয়ে সেই স্থানে ভালো করে ঘষুন। তারপর ধুয়ে ফেলুন। দাগ চলে যাবে। বেকিং সোডাও চাইলে ব্যবহার করতে পারেন।

আয়নায় পড়া ঘোলাটে দাগ
অনেক সময় বেসিনের আয়নায় পানির ছিটা লেগে ঘোলাটে দাগ পড়ে যায়। পুরনো নাইলনের মোজা দিয়ে মুছে ফেলুন। দাগ উঠে যাবে। পুরোনো পেপারে একটু লেবুর রস ঢেলে সেটা দিয়েও ঘষতে পারেন।

কাপড়ে তরকারীর ঝোল
অনেক সময় কাপড়ে তরকারির ঝোল পড়ে। যার কারণে হয়তো বাতিল হয়ে যায় সেই কাপড়টি। এ দাগ থেকে মুক্তি পেতে দাগ পড়া অংশে লেবুর রস লাগিয়ে শুকিয়ে ফেলুন। তারপর সাবান দিয়ে ধুয়ে ফেলুন, দেখবেন দাগ বিলীন।

জানালার কাঁচে ধুলো জমা দাগ
জানালার কাঁচে অনেক সময় ধুলো জমে দাগ পড়ে যায়। পরিষ্কার করার জন্য পানির মধ্যে কয়েক ফোঁটা অ্যামোনিয়া মিশিয়ে ব্যবহার করুন। আর দাগ থাকবেনা। মনে রাখবেন, বেশি রোদের তাপ যেদিন থাকবে সেদিন জানালা পরিষ্কার করা থেকে বিরত থাকবেন।

বাথরুমের মেঝেতে দাগ
বাথরুমের মেঝেতে পানি পড়ে পিচ্ছিল হয়ে যায়, দাগ পরে পানির। খুব সহজেই এটা কিন্তু দূর করতে পারবেন। কীভাবে? কফি খাওয়ার পর মগে যে বাকি অংশ তা দিয়ে মেঝে ঘষে পরিষ্কার করে ফেলুন, দাগ আর থাকবে না।

তরকারি কাটায় হাতের দাগ
পেঁয়াজ বা তরকারি কাটলে হাতের আঙুল কালো হয়ে যায়। বিচ্ছিরি এই দাগ দূর করা কিন্তু খুব সোজা। তরকারি কাটার পর হাতে এক টুকরো লেবু ঘষে নিন। তারপর হাত ধুয়ে ফেলুন, দাগ চলে যাবে।

বেসিনের হলুদ দাগ
বেসিনে সারাক্ষণ পানি পড়ে হলুদ দাগ হয়ে যায়। কী করবেন ভাবছেন? একটু ভিনেগার বা অর্ধেক লেবু ঘষুন, দাগ উঠে যাবে। বেসিনে লালচে দাগ পড়লে তারপর আর নুনের মিশ্রণ তৈরি করে ঐ অংশে ঘষুন। দাগ হাওয়া হয়ে যাবে।

জানালার কাঁচে পড়া দাগ
জানালার কাঁচে দাগ পড়লে হালকা গরম পানির সাথে কয়েক ফোটা লিকুইড সাবান মিশিয়ে নিন। এক্ষেত্রে সবসময় উপরের দিক থেকে মোছা শুরু করবেন এবং নীচের দিকে এসে শেষ করবেন। তাহলে জানালায় আর হাতের দাগ লাগবে না

ক্রমবর্ধমান পেট নিয়ে বিব্রত মানুষের সংখ্যা কম নয়। ভুঁড়ির কারণে শুধু যে অস্বস্তি হয় তাই নয়, হানি হয় দৈহিক সৌন্দর্য্যেরও। তাই মেদ ভুঁড়ি নিয়ে চিন্তার অন্ত নেই।

কিন্তু ইউরোপের এক ফিজিও থেরাপিস্ট বলছেন, সমাধান খুবই সহজ। ডায়েট করে করে শরীর ক্ষয় করতে হবে না। জিমে যাওয়ার সময় করে উঠতে না পারায় হতাশ হওয়ারও প্রয়োজন নেই। তুলে নিন স্রেফ এক টুকরো সুতো। আর বেঁধে ফেলুন পেটটিকে। এরপর লেগে পড়ুন নিত্যকার কাজে।

হ্যাঁ, এতটাই সহজ, বলছেন স্যামি মার্গো। মার্গোর নির্দেশনা অনুযায়ী, বুক ভরে নিঃশ্বাস নিয়ে পেটটা ভেতরে ঢুকিয়ে নিতে হবে। তারপর সুতোটা বেঁধে ফেলতে হবে এমনভাবে যেন বেশি শক্ত করে না আঁটে, আবার নিচেও না নেমে যায়। এরপর স্বাভাবিক কাজকর্ম।

মার্গো বলছেন, এ পদ্ধতি অনেকটাই মনস্তাত্ত্বিক। পেটের মাংসপেশিকে ভেতরে ঢুকিয়ে রাখতে সুতোটা একটা বাড়তি চাপ ফেলবে। সুতোয় টান পড়লে স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবেই ব্যবহারকারী এটা করতে থাকবেন। কিছুদিনের মধ্যেই এটা একরকম অভ্যাসে পরিণত হলে, আপনা থেকেই কাজ করবে এই প্রক্রিয়া। ফলে ভুঁড়ি কমতে বাধ্য। সঙ্গে একটু আধটু ব্যায়াম করলে ফল ফলবে আরো দ্রুত।

তবে, শুরুতে পেটে চাপ পড়ে একটু ব্যাথা করবে বলেও জানিয়েছেন মার্গো। ভুঁড়ি কমাতে এইটুকু ব্যাথা যে কিছুই নয়, বলাই বাহুল্য!

আগামী জুলাই মাস থেকে শুরু হচ্ছে সপ্তম পঞ্চবার্ষিকী পরিকল্পনা। চলবে ২০২১ সালের জুন পর্যন্ত। এরই মধ্যে শুরু হয়েছে বাংলাদেশকে মধ্যম আয়ের দেশে পরিণত করার ভিশন-২০২১। এ কাজও শেষ হবে ২০২১ সালের জুনে। ভিশন-২০২১ ও সপ্তম পঞ্চবার্ষিকী পরিকল্পনা বাস্তবায়নের জন্য আগামী অর্থবছর (২০১৫-১৬) থেকে ২০২০-২১ অর্থবছরের মধ্যে একটি সেতুবন্ধ গড়ে তোলার লক্ষ্য নিয়েই সরকার নতুন বাজেট প্রণয়ন করেছে।
