Business Administration / Re: Tax Evasion Vs Tax Avoidance
« on: January 02, 2014, 01:11:10 AM »
Thanks for your valuable post. Actually Tax evasion is illegal and that's why it is a criminal liability of the tax payer. Intentional understating taxable income or overstating admissible expenses are fallen under  this category whereas Tax avoidance is meaningful and legal within the limit of income tax jurisdiction. An income tax payer can minimize his/her tax liability based on income tax laws such as he/she can get income tax rebate based on his/her investment allowance.
If you have investment in desktop computer you will get rebate (reduction in tax liability) which is legal.

So, the more you know income tax laws, the more you  have expertise to minimize your tax liability.

« on: December 29, 2013, 12:24:19 AM »
Green Building is a concept where the total system of building construction design and materials  met the requirements of  environment friendly or sustainable development concept.  The building itself may be a part of the environment to protect it. The building will ensure the best utilization of natural resources like moon light, rain water, sunlight etc. The first Green Building in Bangladesh was built by EPIC group in May 2011. Now, Cityscape International Limited is in the process of building 'green' buildings in Bangladesh, with a keen focus on the environment.  All of their constructions are designed to reduce carbon footprint to be truly sustainable and efficient 'green' buildings.

Real Estate / Re: Before Buying the Land
« on: December 28, 2013, 11:43:17 PM »
Before buying a land we must verify all the relevant legal documents of land and records that's why we need to collect these relevant documents from the land sellers. If they deny or fail to provide these relevant legal documents  we should not go for any buying decision.
Remember, investment in land is highly profitable but at the same time very risky.

                                                                  REHAB Summer Fair 2013

A four-day fair on real estate and housing will begin on Wednesday in a bid to shake off the sluggish business climate.
Organized by Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh, the REHAB Summer Fair 2013 will display projects from 120 members of the association at the capital’s Ruposhi Bangla Hotel, said Md Wahiduzzaman, acting general secretary of the industry lobby group.
Md Wahiduzzaman, acting general secretary of the industry lobby group confirmed the matter to in a press briefing.
The sector has been going through choppy waters for a long time now due to non-availability of gas connections, conditions on power connection, inadequate credit supply for buyers, lack of scope for investment of undisclosed money, skyrocketing land prices, lack of coordination among service providers, higher rates of bank interest and delay in approvals of project design, he said.
“But we see light of hope after the proposed budget for fiscal 2013-14 and the recent government decision to lift the ban on new gas connection.”
Abdur Rashid, vice-president of REHAB, informed press that  no unapproved project would be allowed to display at the exposition this time.
