ATM libraries open in Wuhan (China). It is a very good initiative taken by China specially for book-lovers. You can visit in this address:

Workers fix a board for a 24 hour self service library in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province on Feb 23, 2011. Wuhan will open its first 24 hour self service library in March this year. It has a capacity for 700 books which can be automatically retrieved by computer. The machines will be placed at train stations, bus stops and in residential communities.

The first 24 hour self service library is set up in Wuhan, capital of Central China's Hubei province on Feb 23, 2011.

What a technology...ATM Library....!!! I wonder the Boot must be a large room with all digital systems to find it out from the collections and bringing through all the way to the borrower!!!!!!!Amazing!!! I wish Bangladesh might have such libraries in each university...so that there would be no need to take pain to rush to Nilkhet now and then. Infact, it would also minimize the waste of time in finding out the desired books from a library...Besides, book lovers will easily get access to get their desired books anytime :)...
