YOU KNOW THE ANSWERS VERY WELL!

The rules are:

1. If the subjects are singular and connected by an are connected by the words OR, NOR, NIETHER/NOR, EITHER/OR, NOT ONLY BUT ALSO  the verb is singular.
BUT
2. If one  subject is plural and one is singular ,you use the verb form of the subject nearest the verb.         

Question:Do /Does your sisters or girlfriends want/ wants any pizza?

Today 13 students registered in social web. I have asked them to do a translation.

Pasha helped me a lot to help the students log in to social web. I am grateful to him.
At first we found many students even do not know how to go to internet page, later we managed, but there are more students  to join yet.

I hope, I will be able to make the students practice more whichever I teach them in the class.
The most important thing is, students are liking it which will motivate them to feel the urge to learn more and more.

Departments / New room for the faculties( 501 administrative building)

Our new room is very nice with windows on two side viewing some part of the Dhanmondi lake and the Metro shopping. It is full of light and when it rains the view becomes such lovely! Moreover, as there are few classes on this floor, working environment is also cool!

There are some problems too, as the AC is not yet fitted but I hope it will be set soon. Thanks to the authority for making spacious faculty room.

Salam. I am not a regular user of the forum, so i missed many occasions and opportunities  to share ideas.

This 'self development workshop' on 'presentation skill, arise a question in my mind ( as I am a teacher of English Department).

Students some time ask me how to do well ?- while facing defense or while facing any project.

I generally guide them being a teacher of language- would you please guide me, being a Teacher of science and engineering- what more should i  emphasize to direct them prperly for their presentation?

I have started using the Socialweb and I am excited about its multifarious use that I want to do. More over, I am really inspired by today's news on www.khanacademy.org( a free-learning website) made by Salman - a person of Bangladeshi origin who has won 2 million dollar for his best idea on 'future world'.

I have visited the website and found many useful videos on physics, chemistry, biology, mathematics are given in a simplistic and understandable way. Students can visit this site.

Your 'request to every forum users- firstly, to develop own writing skill'- is very crucial. And I think if we can point out each other's grammatical loopholes ( specially of the students), the forum will be much more effective.
