Mind Mapping / Mind Mapping in Software Requirement Engineering
« on: April 07, 2013, 01:00:18 PM »
Merging agile with more traditional approaches in software development is a challenging task, especially when requirements are concerned: the main temptation is to let two opposite schools of thought become rigid in their own assumptions, without trying to recognize which advantages could come from either side. Mind mapping seems to provide a suitable solution for both parties: those who develop within an agile method and those who advocate proper requirements engineering practice.

Science and Information / FLIP CLASS: Method for Better Teaching?
« on: April 04, 2013, 04:28:15 PM »
flipping the classroom has transformed teaching practices. With the rise of technology use in  classrooms, many professors are open to structuring their classrooms in innovative ways. The classroom flip (or inverted classroom) is one such innovative classroom structure that moves the lecture outside the classroom via technology and moves homework and practice with concepts inside the classroom via learning activities. Environmental Science and Disaster Management / Re: Global Warming
« on: April 04, 2013, 04:23:22 PM »
To sustain life in this planet , one social and ecological framework is used for sustainability. This framework is called Earth Stewardship. Some students of Software Engineering Department and me are working to create a computer based snake ladder game to focus environmental problems and solutions. In this game, implicitly, the students can learn about up and down in life or about importance of sustainability and troubles. Ladders represent “the up in life and ways of sustainability”, while the existence of the snakes represent “the down in life or trouble for unsustainable life”. Soon this game will be implemented in Daffodil International School. Hope This game might help students to learn about Earth Stewardship.
