after reading this, i think most of you now realize how extensively we are using this category textiles in our day to day life.

similarly, as much as you know about technical textiles, you will realize all around are technical textiles;some are visible but not come into mind; some as partially visible, means you never think that this is technical textiles and some are totally invisible as it is never seen you as any part of textiles.

believe me or not, the slipper you put on, the shoes you uses, the waist belt you wrap around, the artificial ornaments of leather or ceramic, polymer, and composite all are technical textiles.

the floor you walk on, the bed you sleep, the interior of your house or car are all technical textiles.

you are again requested to join lecture class that conducted by me in the evening. then you know why these are technical textiles? and more!

Clothing industry and garment industry are two terms we are using interchangeably. but note that a textile graduates or being a part of this sector, one should  make himself/herself clear on two terms:

I think this innovation is a modification of water-proof breathable fabric. the water proof breathable fabric is especially used for sportswear. In hi-tech textiles lecture, I nicely present this water proof fabric, its construction logic, its serviceability and especial uses.

I think along with this very informative articles, if any of you want to know details on water proof breathable fabrics, then this is golden opportunity for many to attend hi-tech lecture in evening program on Wednesday after the mid-term and this class will be conducted myself.

there is no doubt that Eco-friendly production practices are most wanted by the any local government, central government and global fight for cleaner production. please not that no products can be produced with out effecting the environment. but the aim of any so called cleaner production is to use resources in the best possible, which belongs to sustainable development (sd)and cleaner/Eco-friendly production is a part of this sd.

Textile is very complicated production chain from fiber production to  finished apparel and this final apparel used by any consumers and their recycling methods/damping.

I am a freelancer to promote sustainable development movement and my field is organic processing methods. i completed several free session in different big/ international textile and clothing industries situated in and around dhaka, and even conducted a session with Master Textile engineering students in DIU.

I am always eager to talk part in this of conversation. any group willing to know cleaner production on textile processing from fiber production to finished products, is  welcome.

first i would say that this information is very helpful to many of us.
alone these mentioned problems, i like to include one or two points from my practical experiences:
apparel manufacturing and its business are a chain of complex work. They are too many players and too many actors. Creating proper links among them and defining their job responsibilities are quite difficult, Which is one of the foremost problems in the clothing manufacturing.
-we don't have such trained management personals who believe on ' problem is not a problem' and have the ability to prove it.

I think along with knowing about WRAP (Worldwide Responsible Apparel Production), it is also important to know which organization have the authority to provide WRAP certificate?

As Sumon Sir will be back with his valuable information in this regard, i will wait till then to make any further comments.
