These days, people have been found studying or talking about the subject area of marketing. Kotler is known as the father of marketing even he himself is an Economics graduate. As a discipline, marketing is not a discipline at all. It is just the combination of two poles in economics namely consumer economics and producer economics. From the perspective of producer economics , it performs activities unlike any business concern and the functions of marketing are involved there as well. From the perspective of consumer economics, it deals with the consumer decision making, budget and other consideration. Marketing is not an independent discipline. It is just two simple economics subjects married together by some ambitious individuals.

Human Centric Interest Rate
Several financial institutions these days are dealing with high interest rates. People many suffering as a result of it. Many studies have claimed different versions of solutions to fight with the exorbitant interest rates. We are proposing a human centric interest rate approach to curve this issue. Under this approach, interest will be charged by factoring in the qualitative factors about the lender and also the current condition of the lender. This approach will hopefully reduce the number of default cases to a great extent and promote financial inclusion in a greater scale.

Quantitative Easing (QE) has never been an effective tool in combating inflation. For combating inflation, an economy has to be revived internally which is similar to giving life support to a dying patient. These days, countries receive revenues from many sources. One prime way is through promoting tourism. Tourism is something if nurtured will lead to huge revenue potential even in times of inflation. For tourism, the demand is never on the wane. Gone are the days to follow western economies blindly. Now, this is the time for eccentric economies!!

Citizen Lifetime Value
Many people these days choose to stay abroad for many reasons. Some of the most prominent ones are not getting proper recognition in one's parent country, study, better prospect and further the fully functional social security system. Seldom economists think about the value of a citizen who could easily contribute to the development for his/her country. Developing countries are watching several dimensions of its productive people flying to other countries. Sad part comes in when these people never come back to their parent country and another country gets benefits by using their skills, knowledge and experiences. These things should be quantitative. There should be a measure to see what is the country is losing since many of its human potential are living outside. And the way we can measure its through using the "Citizen Lifetime Value" concept.

Nowadays, GDP is not a reliable measure for world's countries. This is particularly true for developing countries like us where there various facets of income and other such activities. There is growing demand from part of the academic and real world to come up with realistic measure of an economy other than GDP. Sadly, we have enough economists but we do lack realistic economist in our society.

One of the often asked questions about entrepreneurship is " I want to be an entrepreneur. Can you please tell me where to seek for help or idea?" Well..the answer to this question vary from person to person and country to country. Some country people are advanced in thinking patterns due to living in a favorable environment. While some country people may face problems. Whatever may be the reason, the first starting point should be you. You need to brainstorm about your idea. One useful thing (I use most of the times) is to draw flow chart or images about how your business or proposed idea will be marching forward. It's like giving your idea a pictorial shape. Start from the scratch and don't ever think of failure or bad remarks from people. Our society historically saw famous people in different angels. So stop thinking about society's comment.
Take your pencil and start doing. There are many things around us to come up with a better idea. Remember, even an ocean begins with a small drop of water!!!

People often feel confused about Entrepreneurship and Social Entrepreneurship. In Entrepreneurship, an individual (entrepreneur) senses an opportunity and comes out with an idea and thus making profit is the main intention here. While in social entrepreneurship, an individual senses or realizes a social problem and then comes up with an idea to solve this problem. The primary intention here is social well-being. Profit is the natural outcome of the process and thus secondary option here. Entrepreneurs are increasing in numbers. But, the number of social entrepreneurs is still not that much.

Ever heard of direct and indirect Entrepreneur? Direct entrepreneur refers to those people who takes initiatives and establish a business at first hand meaning they usually start their business without much experience. While, indirect entrepreneurs are those who usually work for some time (year or years) in a particular company and then move onto establish their own business. These two main types of entrepreneurs are found in our today's society.

Nowadays everyone aims to go for business school. But, what is the actual aim of enrolling into a business school. If we ask this question to business school students, there will be differing answers. The aim of business school education was to make entrepreneurs. Actually there are two schools of thought regarding being entrepreneur. One school subscribes to the view entrepreneurs can be made using training such as education. Other school views entrepreneurship is such skill which in inherent in an individual.
Another common misconception prevailing around the world is about generic entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurs. Most people even the business school students don't have clear idea regarding the huge differences between these two types of entrepreneurs.
Generic entrepreneurs are those people who runs the business solely for profit. Profit is the main motivating factor here. On the other hand, social entrepreneurs are those people who sense existing problems in the society and then come up with a solution to solve that. Here, solving social problem is the main thing and profit earning is the secondary one.

Catalyst Entrepreneurs are those group of people who begin their early years by working for someone else as they believe they don't possess the required skills and such to pursue entrepreneurship. So they want to gather some knowledge first and then move onto establishing their own business. Considering today's world, they are increasing in numbers as per various studies and sources available over internet.

We often confuse about Entrepreneurship and limit its definition. Entrepreneurship entails taking up initiatives considering the risk factors. Risk can be in many forms. Now question comes in whether the term entrepreneurship is only applicable for business. As inferred from the definition, the spirit of entrepreneurship can be found anywhere in our society. A husband or a father or a mother who runs the family is an Entrepreneur. An academician is an Entrepreneur as well. Students are also fall under these larger domain of Entrepreneurs. The real entrepreneurship is within yourself. People can only be entrepreneurs if they have power, strong back ups- that's a wrong notion. Another common wrong notion is if you participate in any competition, then you can be an Entrepreneur. Well, this is a matter of debate. If you just have a glimpse on the lives of most successful entrepreneurs they are mostly college dropouts or someone who has degree as well but they never participated in any competition to be an entrepreneur. It is within themselves that make them successful. Unfortunately, we live in a world where some budding entrepreneurs have been taken out or misdirected through various means at the early stage. Some of these entrepreneurs manage to come back and grab success. Those who can not make it, they hide behind the screen. Considering all these, tenacity and passion for work or dream are must for to be entrepreneurs.
