I am very much pleased to inform you that the executive Committee of DIU Real Estate Club (DIUREC) has formed on 1st March, 2011 with the presence of Head of the Department, Teachers, Officer & Students.

It is our proud privilege to inform you that, Mr. Masud Ibn Rahman, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Real Estate and Department of Commerce, is going to join the 20th CEDIEMS conference at Laval University, Quebec City, Canada on 7-12 November 2010. It is to be mentioned here that Mr. Rahman has been selected as the speaker of the Stephen A Jarislowsky Chair competing India, China, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and many other Asian countries. It is worth to mention here that Canadian broadcasting service Radio Canada will broadcast and interview of Mr. Rahman as an expert from Asia. It is expected that researchers from more than 100 countries will be joining the conference.

Real Estate / World Housing Day........

4th October " World Housing Day" will be celebrated in different countries. In our country also it will be celebrated.

Department of Real Estate of DIU can also celebrate the day. We can make a rally on the day as advertisement of the department and also can arrange a discussion program.

Real Estate / Plz dont eat red meats!!!!!!!!!

Dear all,

Nowadays all of us already have known about Anthrax. It is one type bacteria which is created in the body of cows/ goats. It is very harmful for human body also because anthrax spread out by breathing and eating meats of cows/goats. It does not spread from man to man. But it spread out from animal to human body. Government  of Bangladesh have already taken steps to conscious people about that.

In this situation, we have to be conscious also. Lets try to avoid red meats and suggest others to avoid red meats.

May Allah help people of Bangladesh in this hard time.

Real Estate / A new idea to resist wall writing in exam hall/room.

Copying & wall writing in exam hall are very common scenery. Copying can be controlled by the teachers. But wall writing are going on day by day & it became uncontrolled. In this circumstances, we must take some initiatives.

I think we can use Enamale Paint in the walls of our class rooms/exam rooms. After that what will happen? After that if any student writes anything on the wall, that will be removed by just with a wet cloth. Anything they write through pencils/pens, it will be removed before starting the exam.

I think it can be a relevant solving of wall writing problem. If anybody has any other idea then please share it for wellbeing of our university.
