Hurrah !! ACM ICPC now in Dhaka !!

Professor Dr. Syed Akhter Hossain, DIU, Professor Kaykobad, BUET, Professor Abul Laise Haque, NSU and Mr. Nadir Bin Ali, DIU was present at the Press Conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU).

Daffodil International University (DIU) is going to host the "ACM-ICPC Dhaka Regional 2012" the most prestigious computing event ever exist in the world in an international venue Radisson Blu Water garden Hotel, Dhaka on Saturday 8 December 2012.

ACM-ICPC Dhaka Regional 2012 will be for the first time in such an international venue. An amazing day will shine the shord of the problem solving for all contestants in this fantastic venue.This will bring a colorful festival for the contest lovers, problem setters and most importantly the contestants.

ACM ICPC is a two-tier contest in the first of which teams from different universities participate in regional contests and the winners of these contest qualify for the World Finals which held at different countries. Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), IBM, Upsilon Pi Epsilon(UPE), and Baylor University are thrilled with this contest of problem solving which continues to attract the best and brightest students from around the world with 24,915 contestants from 2,070 universities in 88 countries competing this past years in the world finals.

Yeah! Thank you. Really, we wonder ever that DIU teams will be taking part in the Grand Final going to be held at St. Petersburg, Russia. Here the forum post is nothing but just to upsurge our guys' interest on the dignified trouble shooting battle the ACM ICPC. Wishing the success of this biggest regional event and thats the thing really we all are working for.
