HOW PROFESSOR STEPHEN HAWKINGS TALK DESPITE OF COMPLETE PARALYSIS

One of the most brilliant theoretical physicists of the century, Professor Stephen Hawking is known for his pioneering research that helped in understanding black holes and his contributions to quantum gravity and cosmology. He is the author of the bestseller book 'A Brief History of Time‘.

He had some neuromotor disease and became paralysed at the age of 21. Today he is completely paralyzed below the neck but continues his work from the confines of a wheelchair enabled by technological aids.  Thanks to the advanced speech synthesizer that he uses. The voice we hear as Professor Hawking's is actually a computer generated voice, created by the speech synthesizer.

Scientist built a device that enables Hawking to write onto a computer with small movements of his cheeks, sensor under his eye attached to his glasses capture this signal to auto complete words from predictive texts and then have a voice synthesiser speak what he has typed.
