SCEPTRE

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

Let me serve you with candour, endeavour & dexterity
Let me dragoon every dissipated into reviving morality,
Let me annihilate all viciousness, massacre & coercion
Let me garnish you to be a utopia, oh, global civilization,
Let me try my best to exploit the Boon of Liberated Will.

Let me love you with sheer simplicity, liability & devotion
Let me expel you otherwise, following your disinclination,
Let me envisage a constant friendship in our weal and woe
Let me oust you, valued comrade- if you mull me over a foe,
Let me aim my best to make use of the Blessings of Persona.

Let me do my goal of birth till death for a serene hereafter
Let me be loyal, steadfast, assiduous & free of dark chapter,
Let me walk on a smooth pavement to attain a justified pelf
Let me plead to Allah for the betterment of thy & other-self,
Let me strive my best to capitalize the Favour of Conscience.

PARAGON

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

Turn demeanour placid,
Make your say lucid.
Strive conquers success,
To be bad: a pejorative access.
One cannot satisfy all,
Complacency & pride hasten fall.
Always abhor corruption,
Honesty lifts reputation.
Success bows to a pertinacious,
All rely on a perspicacious.
Be meticulous about blunders,
Everybody hates him who plunders.
Never transgress your limit,
Don’t squander, just dim it.
Gains he who is hasty,
A fruit of patience seems tasty.
To reach at the goal is hardy,
Working for the society is praiseworthy.
Bonhomie can win a heart,
Patriotism is an inevitable part.
Who likes to be a kinky?
Detest hanky-panky.
Be candid and never pretend,
Ambition is capitalized by contend.
Never relinquish your hope,
Tie up all brutality with a rope.
Better to retard all retaliation,
Evade unnecessary mystification.
Doggedness is a bad sign,
Smiling face looks very fine.
A devout must be rewarded,
Despair should be retarded.
Detraction is detrimental,
Dogmatism pesters all.
Amack driving is a breakneck,
Be kind to all for God’s sake.
Truthfulness is dandy,
Saving money is proved handy.
Simplicity is the best way,
Live in others’ hearts & thus sway.

TELEPATHY

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

1
Ignorance Is Bliss, Man Must Suffer To Be Wise
Now I Earnestly Regret, Why I Did Come Here, Or You!
Anguish Is Azure To Me For You, To You Ignorance Precise
Be Wise. Or Tread On My Soul And Start Life Anew.

2
I Have An Angina Pectoris For Thee
I Yearn For The Best Physician, Will You Be?
You Can Love. Or Wound/ Maim/ Slay Me
I'll Never Go To Scotland Yard, You See.

Sage... Thesis... M Phil
Pen... Rejuvenate... Refill
Orange... Colour... Xanthophyll
WBC... Stainable Cell... Eosinophil
It Is You Whom I Feel...

I breathe In That Air Where You Do,
I Relish That Sunbeam Which You Do,
I Gaze At That Sky Where You Do,
I Abide In That Earth Where You Do,
Contemplate, How Close We Are…!

As you know, Telepathy is defined as the ability to communicate without using the five senses that we normally use; such as hearing, touch, smell, taste and sight.

The sixth sense that is present in us is considered to be dormant in most of us. Even though is present but hidden in all, at some instance it works out to be of great use for us. As it is a streamline belief of subconscious pensiveness, and intuition....some idea/message might be conveyed through telepathic way.

MONSOON

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

Lurid summer flares and parches our crust and core
But torrent numbness and sigh for her transcend me more.
Can an introvert lover conquer love’s onerous ordeal?
Agony undermines his vitality like a delicious meal.

My tabula rasa, her fluorescent elixirs of déjà vu, install
How can I be evolved without my desirous élan vital?
I, a flagellant, flinch myself from worldly momentum
Only her amour can uplift to the zenith from substratum.

Now I am flabbergasted, assume it a mirage: telepathy
The wooer vainly gets into stride in quest of the Lethe.
Let’s welcome Monsoon. Urge Her to be incessant, relent:
Kadamba blooms, flamingo swims, river gains ornament,

For washing away our flaw, pang, aridity, trash & despair,
For engulfing all ill-wishers & doers of my impeccable fair.

MOON

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

In the vast sky, an exquisite Moon appears at night
She unleashes her beauty & splashes her moonlight
Around her, there are lots of stars: nimble & bright
Wish to possess the luminous Moon, at their sight.

There is a loamy Earth, in solitude, beneath the Moon:
Dwarf, temperate, introvert; likes to stride in the noon
Lots of weights & tasks on his shoulder from July to June
In bosom, plethoras of deep-rooted affliction defy his boon.

The Moon looms, but her precious fervour is rare to him
At night, if the mess of cloud agrees, he attains her beam
In the heap of stars, she harmonizes her with their vim
The Earth seems ineligible, rather their unity looks trim.

The Earth awaits her with a forlorn hope, like a Lodestar:
The Moon mingles with him, bestows her possession to stir.

Wow!! This poem (Moon) is almost like a song .. you should talk to someone who can give a rhythm to this poem to convert it as a song.. it will be beautiful for sure!!

All the poems in Earth are a kind of song, if you instill tempo & rhythm in that. Anyway, thank you for your encouraging comment.

Without poems life is something with poem life is anything...Read poetry about life,,the meaning of life ,,lessons of life,,celebration of life...
It brought up a lot that needed  expression, and i expressed a lot of that through poetry....AND LAST OF ALL I LOVE POETRY

AWAIT

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

Ignoring all dynamicity, this large metropolitan comes to a dire standstill
Cornucopia of its flora & fauna languishes despite the inundation of rain,
Thriving economy collapses as the business hub has not a bit sap to instill
Vendors divest them of goods; productivity of the entire city goes in vain.

Excruciating vacuity & anesthesia overwhelm the city’s whole spectrum
Virgins’ exquisite floral adornments fall short to distract the young men,
Diurnal motion of the sun perishes because there is stagnancy humdrum
Noble cosmopolitans are deterred from panning out a welfare campaign.

Dwellers are no more imbued with patriotism, verve & vital civic sense
Closed Market; no export-import; no sports: only embedded distraction
Inert Media; tarnished morality; Scaramouch plummets in dismay, tense
Lethargic Admin; insecure Citadel; contused Medicare; spoiled Education

I’m the most impecunious & experiencing dissuasion from everything
Thine sole return in this metropolis can fetch up normalcy- but nothing.

ETERNAL DEPARTURE

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

How uncertain our life is! And mysterious
We are in agony and, sometimes hilarious.
Ecstasy brims over our lives time to time
Soul & body encounter affliction in mime.

You could come and contribute the earth
Could shoulder duty by illustrious birth.
Is it wise to leave early the world poignant?
But to show tolerance of this, why we can’t?

In this world, your existence is never to find
Your un-timed exit we’ll ever keep in mind.
All have to depart one day— before or after
Titanic or tiny, no way to escape the hereafter.

* Eternal Departure is written in memorization of and in dedication to my unseen dear one, who has left the earth prematurely.

S A B O T E U R

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

My birth doesn’t appear before me as an opportune
I could be begotten a bit earlier to inscribe my fortune.
During 1971, if I were a vivacious young as I am now
Must have become a valiant freedom fighter, I vow!

I could take part in the Liberation War for my Country
As an invincible safeguard, a vigilant weariless sentry.
Whether I attended or not, history must not be different
I’d be a gallant warrior to the top of my cherished bent.

Our vigorous fighters’ strenuous toils, I could lessen a bit
By helping them to assist the bastard Pak-tyrants to find Pit.
A vindictive observer of  â€™71’s War cry, a victim rancorous:
Awesome carnage, implausible vandalism, lechery ravenous.

Going to the War, horror of ’71 I could intensely witness:
Horror, pitfall & doom of the unnerved oppressor, witless.
Warfare both front and guerrilla- air, rural, naval or urban
Pistol, Rocket launcher, LMG, Grenade, SLR or Stengun.

I’d not bring the horrendous Genocide to a quiescent halt
But co-commandos & I could make the occupants for a bolt.
Two latent, inevitable options: Martyrdom or Independence
Neither vacillation, trepidation in myself, nor reluctance.

Motherly Bangladesh, dear mother & unseen beloved pretty
Could be my ingrained inspirations immense, never petty.
Till Death I’d proclaim vehemently- an evenhanded boast
Such a Death for Motherland, I deem, is the precious most.

T R E E

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

Let’s Plant two saplings before leaving the earth
Make the earth prettier than the time of our birth.

Safeguard others by shouldering ‘em on our trunk
Extend our branches to shade others as to be frank
Generate Oxygen for others at their weal & woe
Offer blooming flowers to reconcile with the foe.

Honour the toils of the soil that energize our gains
Acknowledgment to all alleviates all kind of pains
Achievements are piled up by contribution of many
Feeling of gratefulness by no means costs a penny
A rootless life speeds up an existence to stigmatize
Let’s not be failed to remember roots, which vitalize.

L O V E  S O N G

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

I’ve esteemed nobody before so intensely in this way
It’s true, I’m grateful to you & on no account go away.
You’re my first ever companion, well-wisher & guide
None but you have the utmost right to love me or chide.

Fittingly you shroud subterranean anguish that looks lean
I avow, you’re the paramount personality I’ve ever seen
My affliction ails and ecstasy lets you in seventh heaven
For you? Petite: entire earth, headdress amaranth woven

Whatever good in me is your contribution, bad is mine
It is by no means feasible to reimburse my debt to thine!
Your sheer melancholy, I discern, will prod my empathy,
In my bliss, I’ll side with you, without a slender of apathy.

You nourished, schooled, moulded me & nothing is due
Oh my very dear Mother, I loved, love & will be loving you!

I N C O N G R U I T Y

by Ahemed Shamim Ansary

I confront incongruity here & there, every now & then
As if, we’ve overwhelmed the society & become insane!
Proliferated crooked leaders: old politics gives no hope;
Meritorious lags behind while “special candidates” cope.

Prohibited parking is very common; Doctors are in clinic
Unfounded cost of commodities has turned into a chronic.
Contaminated, unhygienic foods & goods are at booming
Pre-marriage unethical love & adultery are mushrooming.

Fixed-Price shops allow bargain; people refuge mendacity
Without self-proceeds in the least kind, there lack alacrity.
Corruption axes Governmental-nongovernmental potency
Import is imposed; jute & sugar mills pursue stagnancy

What else can Allah do when we’re bestowed with sense?
Just our Firm Will can heave from this chasm of fall, dense.
