Young Women Entrepreneurs’ Forum (YWEF) is designed to be a strong and wide networking platform to gather thoughts and ideas of entrepreneurship in the female youth. It is dedicated to assist the young women who face different obstacles in both social and business world in Bangladesh. For this, it aims to share tips, problem solving techniques, knowledge, support, and connections that the young women need in order to become widely successful entrepreneurs and business leaders. This forum will offer a wide range of programs and events throughout the year to provide the competent female graduates throughout Bangladesh with an entrepreneurial opportunity to develop themselves. Successful female entrepreneurs, advisors, and business professionals, who are always ready to share their expertise, experiences, and ups and downs of their entrepreneurial journey, will be invited to those programs.

The objectives of this Forum shall be:

a) To promote entrepreneurship and social awareness towards young women at Daffodil International University as well as other educational institutions throughout Bangladesh.

b) To identify and support women and young entrepreneurs who are seeking to start or expand a business.

c) To promote a culture of entrepreneurship in young women, and support young entrepreneurs with business skills training, mentorship and seed grants.

d) To provide unemployed and recently graduated young women with job placement services, including work readiness skills, career advice and links to internship and employment opportunities in the private sector.

e) To raise community and campus awareness of the value and potential of entrepreneurship.

f) To coordinate social activities amongst the Forum membership.

g) To ensure widespread and high quality participation in the development and economic growth of our country.

h) To monitor, evaluate and disseminate the lessons learned.

MEMBERSHIP
Any female student of university level and young female professional of Bangladesh shall be eligible for the membership of the forum. The forum is responsible to enroll General Members at least twice in a year. The age limit for the young professionals shall be maximum 40 years. Each student member should maintain at least CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 or equivalent to continue her membership in the forum.

There is a limit of one vote per member for all voting members of the Forum.

Any female student or young professional can be the Life Member of the Forum with prior consent of the Advisory Committee.

MEMBERSHIP FEES
The annual subscription for General Members shall be determined on occasion by a General Meeting of the Forum. The annual membership fee for the General Members of the Forum shall be two hundred taka (BDT 50) for a student and five hundred taka (BDT 500) for a young professional.

The subscription of Life Member of the Forum shall be twenty five thousand taka (BDT 25,000).

The Forum is responsible to arrange at least one Intra-University program/competition at DIU, one Inter-University program/competition in each academic year with the supervision of CDC, DIU. The forum should devote its initiatives to organize seminars, workshops, training programs, talk shows, meet the leader sessions, panel discussions, press conferences, field visits, publications, and so on to boost up the morale of its members with a view to developing their entrepreneurial and leadership skills.

I have already collected one completed member form from one female student. I am also encouraging the other female students to become a member of this forum.
