Title: Negredo inches closer to City move
Post by: russellmitu on July 12, 2013, 04:04:06 PM
Alvaro Negredo has declared he is at a 'decisive moment' as he contemplates a switch from Sevilla to Manchester City.

The 27-year-old Spanish striker is on the radar of new City boss Manuel Pellegrini, and although Negredo said he is happy in Spain, he said Sevilla's lack of success could prompt a move to England.

"Right now, I'm at Seville and like it very much," Negredo was quoted as saying in The Sun.

"If I stay that'll be fine but if I leave then it will be because it benefits both the club and myself.

"I'm happy on a personal level — but collectively we have not achieved the goals we wanted.

"Now perhaps I am at a decisive moment for my future."

As well as Negredo, City are also believed to keen on luring Fiorentina and Montenegro striker Stevan Jovetic to Eastlands.
