It is really a good initiative from the department.
A trend is going to be commenced to bid farewell to the old students! DIU is also thriving in this respect. It brings the new and old students under the same umbrella.
We will be there...
-
I wish you all the success to the programme.

A flamboyant tradition rises....as Rainbow Rise and Revive.
It was a nice program indeed.
Please make it a regular part. Thanks to the esteemed teachers.

The cultural program performed by the students of English Dept. was really excellent and praiseworthy. The speeches delivered by Shahrear and Shamim, proved again the competence of our students. Although the speeches were brief, the audience did not fail to get the message underlying in those speeches. Again the performance of the two anchors was really outstanding and deserves praise from all. their anchoring was really innovative and amusing. Even the plays also demanded praise from the audiences. I think this sort of outstanding performers should be given their deserved recognition. I personally appreciate their talent. Above all, the program was an example of excellence created by dept. of English.

And again our students proved that they are multi-talented.The song of Banna was very dedicated. The skit- Tokai was thoughtful. The play Arms & the Man was really comic. Even, the dance ( waka waka ) was also relevant as world cup is the talk-of the -time now.
The awards announced by the Head and the Dean are very encouraging.

I was mesmerized with yesterday's programme organized by English Department. It also gave me the opportunity to reminisce my own orientation and farewell. The way our students talked and performed proved their confidence.I could also see the reflection of our success as teachers in their speech.Specially Shamim's patriotism touched me a lot.I am really proud of being a part of English Department...

A nice tradition is growing up.
I can recall the day of the last semester, when Department of English set up the same occasion where I also took part as a Revived Rainbow.

There was a real carnival atmosphere in the auditorium. The Ss gave a magnificent performance. I was deeply moved to see the magical performances of Dr. Binoy as well as my colleagues. Their performing arts are really superb. They are simply born actors and actresses. The program was awesome- it lived up to all our expectations. Thanks.

Dear Irina Madam
Thanks for your inspiration.I hope your recognition will work as a driving force and thus encourage us to perform far better than this.I am really grateful to all of my students and colleagues who really worked very hard to make the program a success.

I could not attend the program as I was in Uttara at that day. After reading all the posting I understood that definitely I missed something great.I am really feeling sad about it. Waiting to see more post with pictures.
