On the first day of my university, when I was getting upstairs I met a face who was identified by me later on. I was looking for a teacher to get my papers attested. When I became hopeless suddenly I stared at a name-plate. Then I was confused to enter the room. Anyhow I entered and found the same face. Looking at my dress he told me putting his hand on my head "তুমি ইংরেজি পড়তে এসেছো আমি খুশি হয়েছি কিন্তু বাবা একটি কথা মনে রাখবে কখনো ইংরেজ হওয়ার চেষ্ঠা করো না।" From that moment (2001 to 2013) I never dare to stand in front of him. How unsmart I am! May Almighty help me to get rid of the situation. And the face is nobody else but the most respected (my+our) favourite teacher Sirajul Islam Chowdhury.

What a wonderful memory of first day in university! So touchy. Thanks for sharing.

Sir is equally good with his Bangla. I remember listening to a convocation speech that he presented - not a single word in English, a fine example of 'promito Bangla' and his presentation was captivating! For one long hour I kept listening without losing track. A brilliant thinker of our country!

Apu, actually you understand what I meant to this writing. You understand the merit of Sir perfectly. For this reason, I gave the Bangla Quotation. Thank You.
