A sleek white superyacht ordered by the Apple co-founder Steve Jobs before he died has been seized in an Amsterdam shipyard in a dispute over an unpaid bill.
The Venus — an £80-million-pound toy that the billionaire computer mogul had built by internationally acclaimed ship designer Phillipe Starck — is sailing nowhere fast after a bailiff entered the shipyard this week.
Lawyers for Mr Starck’s company Ubik say he has been paid just two thirds of the €9 million — £7.3 million — he said he was promised when he took the commission.
